The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a pregnancy storyline seems likely for Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), which could certainly have a huge impact on her relationship with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). B&B needs something to rock this solid couple’s world, so a baby could easily do that.
Of course, Flo’s pregnancy would be a lot for Wyatt and Flo to wrap their heads around. They aren’t expecting to start building a family at this stage of their relationship, but they could come to grips with what’s happening and get excited in time.
Flo and Wyatt could eventually decide they’re all in and focus on the fun of baby prep. However, this storyline could later bring some major challenges. Based on Flo’s history, The Bold and the Beautiful would be wise to deliver a crushing loss and put this relationship to the test like never before.
B&B fans will recall that Flo posed as the birth mom who gave up a baby for adoption. That baby was Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez), who was stolen from Hope and Liam before being handed over to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Some viewers still haven’t fully forgiven Flo for her role in the phony adoption plot. Flo stood by and watched Hope grieve all while knowing Hope’s baby wasn’t really dead. Hope went through a terrible ordeal, so maybe it’s time for Flo to go through one of her own. Soap karma may hit hard if Flo gets pregnant by Wyatt.
Although Flo gave up a kidney to save Katie Logan (Heather Tom), that attempt at redemption felt forced and fell flat. Having Flo expose Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) fake terminal illness scam didn’t do Flo any favors either. All that accomplished was making Flo look like a hypocrite and riling up fans.
The only way B&B ever has any hope of wiping the slate clean with Flo is to put her through unimaginable pain – perhaps the kind of pain Hope endured when she thought she lost Beth. Could Flo get pregnant and lose her baby?
That would naturally be rough on Wyatt, who previously had to deal with Hope’s miscarriage of his own unborn child. It would be hard for Flo as well and could lead to some relationship struggles.
Hope and Liam were torn apart over Beth’s “death,” so Flo and Wyatt might be torn apart over a similar situation – only it’d be a real loss in this case.
By putting Flo in Hope’s shoes, it could finally cause viewers to have some sympathy for her and set up a new storyline in the process. Could the loss of a baby be in Flo’s future? Will Flo finally understand just how much pain she caused with her lies?
