The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, January 3, teases that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) plot will crumble. He convinced Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to rehire Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and let her get a feel for Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) motives. Liam was hoping Zoe could be their ticket to exposing Thomas’ real intentions, but his hope will fade fast.
That’s because Zoe’s already been manipulated by Thomas. He wooed Zoe with a romantic evening, which led to them making love. Thomas later invited Zoe to enjoy the Christmas festivities with him, and now he wants Zoe to model gowns for Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) line.
From Zoe’s perspective, Thomas is doting on her and showing her that he’s truly committed to their future together.
Of course, Liam isn’t going to buy that, but Zoe will be adamant that it’s true. She’ll try to sell Liam on the idea that Thomas has truly put Hope behind him. Zoe will gush about how Thomas is treating her and suggest there are no red flags at all. She’ll want Liam to see Thomas the way she sees him, but Liam will just be bummed over losing his secret weapon.
Liam will be shocked over how fast Thomas was able to dupe Zoe. He’ll still think Thomas is playing games to win over Hope, so B&B fans can expect some hot drama. In the meantime, Thomas will make a major admission to Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).
He’ll confess that this whole Zoe thing is just an act, which will get him to his final goal of being with Hope – at least that’s what Thomas is counting on.
Shauna will likely point out that she could and should tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Ridge believes Thomas is turning his life around, so he deserves to know he’s been duped, too.
However, Thomas won’t think Shauna’s going to breathe a word of this. He’ll note that Shauna stands to lose just as much as he does if she blabs. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will urge Shauna to fight for her man.
Thomas will insist Shauna’s good for Ridge unlike Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Thomas will want to eliminate any chance of a “Bridge” reunion, so he’ll push Shauna to make her move and seal the deal ASAP. He’ll suggest that if Shauna spilled his scheme, she’d only be sabotaging her shot with Ridge.
It looks like Shauna may end up taking Thomas’ advice eventually. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say she’ll at least keep her mouth shut until she decides what’s next.
