The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Friday, November 6, reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) demanded to know what the mannequin was doing in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) apartment.
Thomas asked Liam to leave, but Liam freaked out and wanted to know if Thomas had the mannequin custom made. Thomas calmly said he had nothing to do with it.
Liam accused Thomas of still being obsessed with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and Thomas said that Liam could think what he wanted. Liam fumed about Thomas keeping a blowup doll in his apartment, and Thomas said that this was obviously a mannequin.
Liam looked the mannequin over and said that it looked just like Hope. “Why do you have this?” Liam demanded.
Thomas explained that the mannequin was a prop for Forrester from the boutique, and that he was using it as a sketch prop that helped him design.
Thomas claimed that he was trying to respect Hope and Liam, since he obviously couldn’t try out his designs on Hope herself. Liam then touched the mannequin’s hair, and Thomas cried out, “Don’t touch her!”
“Her?” Liam said. “Don’t touch HER?” Thomas brushed his comment off, and Liam griped about how disturbing it was for Thomas to be alone in his apartment with a Hope doll.
Thomas said that Liam was the one who was disturbed and that his mind was in the gutter. “Why are you here?” Thomas asked. Liam explained that he heard about Thomas’ conversation with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Liam said that Thomas was clearly lying to get Hope back, and Thomas balked, saying that Liam was the one who was obsessed – with his own ego. “I said those things to Finn because they’re true,” Thomas said, going on to blast Liam for spending so much time over at Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) house.
Thomas said that Liam was doing damage to both Steffy and Hope.
Liam fumed that Thomas was trying to turn Hope against him so that he could step in, and Thomas said that he wasn’t, and that he talked with Hope because she was Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother.
Liam told Thomas to know his place and stay there, and to only discuss business and Douglas with Hope. Thomas said that Hope gets to decide who she spends time with.
Thomas then blasted Liam for being addicted to stringing Hope and Steffy along, and that he saw the same thing growing up with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Thomas mentioned Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) and how they would eventually suffer, and Liam fired back that Thomas was a grown man still mad at his daddy. Liam ultimately left after telling Thomas that he wasn’t right in the head.
Thomas looked at the mannequin, then he collapsed onto the floor, eventually pulling himself back up. The mannequin said, “He’s wrong – Hope needs your help. Liam’s the problem.” Thomas stared at the mannequin. “You know what you have to do,” the mannequin said. “So do it, Thomas. Kill Liam.”
Over in the Forrester CEO office, Steffy and Hope talked about Thomas and how he understood Hope’s vision for Hope For The Future.
Hope also said that Thomas understood her boundaries, and Steffy was really glad to hear that, but Steffy wondered how Liam would feel about Thomas working on Hope For The Future.
Just then, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) entered, and Hope said that she needed to talk with him about something. Hope divulged that Thomas would be on the Hope For The Future team going forward, and Zende was cool with it.
Steffy thought that Hope might get more pushback from Liam, and Zende agreed.
Hope thought that things were different now, and that Thomas had really stepped up as a father to Douglas, Steffy said that she was proud of Thomas, and that hopefully they’d continue to see positive changes in him.
After Zende took off, Steffy mentioned something about their extended family working out well, and Hope looked askew. “You have that look again,” Steffy told Hope. “Does it bother you that Liam is spending time with Kelly and me?”
