The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Friday, October 9, reveal that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) left messages for Eric Forrester (John McCook) as she paced in the Forrester living room.
Soon, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived, saying that she and Quinn have been heading toward this moment for a long time. Brooke gloated that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had called off the wedding to Quinn’s “honest” bestie, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).
Brooke had her say, going on about how Quinn was motivated by her animosity, and Quinn fired back that Brooke tried to turn Eric against her. “Everything I said to Eric was true,” Brooke said.
Quinn blustered, but Brooke said that Quinn needed to take responsibility for the chaos that she created, and Brooke rehashed everything that Quinn and Shauna did with respect to the divorce papers and Ridge and Shauna’s Vegas marriage.
Brooke told Quinn that she was a hideous, loathsome person, and that soon Eric and the rest of the family would see it, too. Quinn asked Brooke to leave, but Brooke refused, saying that Quinn had manipulated Eric’s son, and then Brooke realized that Eric had already found out the truth.
Brooke said that Eric would soon remove Quinn’s portrait, and that she would be removed from Eric’s life, home, and family forever.
Meanwhile, Eric entered the Forrester Creations CEO office upset over his earlier argument with Quinn. Eric spotted Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) at the designing table and was thrilled to see his grandson back from Paris.
As he talked with Zende, Eric gazed at a jewelry tray sadly. Zende wondered if everything was ok, and Eric disclosed that he just learned something disturbing about Quinn and that their future was uncertain.
Zende offered to talk with Eric if he wanted, but Eric wanted to switch gears and talk about Zende instead. Eric looked at Zende’s sketch and praised his grandson’s abilities.
As it turned out, Eric knew that Zende was coming back from Julius Avant (Obba Babatundé), who had heard about Zende and Nicole Avant’s (Reign Edwards) split from Nicole. Soon, Eric’s phone dinged, and he had to step away for a meeting, leaving Zende in the office alone.
Over in the design office, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) was looking up Zende online and gazing at a photo of him when Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) walked in.
Zoe closed her laptop and learned from Carter all about how Ridge and Brooke were back together, and about how Quinn and Shauna deliberately interfered with their marriage.
Carter was worried about how Eric was going to take the news about Quinn, but Zoe thought that everyone would end up going on with their lives as usual. Carter wasn’t so sure, but he was happy about Ridge and Brooke moving forward with their lives.
Zoe promised Carter that they’d celebrate later, but after Carter left, Zoe continued her perusal of Zende’s online presence.
Later, Eric walked in the empty design office and took a moment to decompress. Eric sadly looked at a jewelry tray that was sitting around and picked up a necklace, flashing back to good times with Quinn in the past.
Back over in the CEO office, Zende was still designing when Zoe entered wearing a low-cut Forrester gown. Zoe thought that she’d model the design for Zende, and she put on some music and did some modeling moves.
Afterwards, Zoe broached the subject of Zende and Nicole again, but Zende didn’t want to get into it. Zoe said that she was looking forward to working with Zende in the future.
