The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will get their life together back on track. Once all the Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wedding mayhem is behind them, Hope and Liam will focus on their family with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez).
Of course, we have to wonder how long this round of “Lope” will really last! Hope and Liam don’t have a great track record when it comes to building a long-term relationship.
B&B fans have watched Liam reconnect with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) lately. Part of Liam’s always going to love Steffy, so nothing’s actually changed in that department.
Remember how everything went down after the “Steam” kiss Hope witnessed? Thomas’ involvement doesn’t matter. Hope suggested that the real problem was Liam’s lingering love for Steffy, not Thomas or Douglas.
Liam’s feelings for Steffy are never going to fade away completely. Liam can only control them for so long before they come roaring back and cause issues.
Is Hope just setting herself up for more heartbreak? After all, Steffy chose to do the right thing and ultimately came clean about the manipulation behind the kiss. She handed Liam back over to Hope, so B&B writers softened the whole thing and made is easier if they still want a “Steam” reboot down the road.
We also have to consider Thomas and his plans in the weeks ahead. Will he try to sabotage Liam and Hope’s romance for revenge? That’s certainly a possibility to mull over.
Hope and Liam may not last long if Thomas has anything to say about it! He could target “Lope” and make sure they’re eventually torn apart. If Thomas can’t have Hope, he may not want Liam to have her either.
Bottom line, Liam’s stuck in a permanent love triangle with Hope and Steffy. Anyone who’s watched The Bold and the Beautiful long enough knows that! One way or another, Liam’s going to start drifting back toward Steffy. It’s just a matter of how long it’ll take and what kind of drama will lead to “Steam’s” spark reigniting.
