The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) may be open to a reunion with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Although Katie suggested she was ready to accept Bill’s apology and move forward yet, Bill still got a sense of hope from their conversation.
It’s easy to see that Bill isn’t going to give up – and Katie’s proven that she tends to take Bill back, even when he doesn’t deserve it.
In an interview with TV Soap Magazine, Heather Tom opened up about Katie and Bill’s complicated relationship. This potential reunion obviously involves Bill and Katie’s young son, Will Spencer (Finnegan George).
How big of a factor is Will going to be in Katie’s decision of possibly getting back together with Will? Tom’s hoping B&B will downplay that part of the story.
“I hope it’s a very small amount,” Tom admitted. “I don’t love giving the impression parents should stay together [solely] for the sake of a child.” Tom suggested that kids are often aware of it when their parents try to make a relationship work for the wrong reasons. She argued that Katie should feel confident Will’s going to be fine whether a “Batie” reunion happens or not.
“She has to get back with Bill for herself…Katie wouldn’t want a man who’s only there for her because of their child,” Tom added. Fortunately, Bill’s mentality right now seems to be more about the total family package – which includes both Katie and Will. Bill knows he’s usually a better man when Katie’s in his life and that’s the man he wants to be.
Although a “Batie” reunion does seem to be in the works, it should take some time for Bill to earn Katie’s trust back. It turns out Tom’s in no hurry to have an onscreen love interest due to the safety protocols on set.
The Bold and the Beautiful has been relying on mannequins and real-life loves whenever possible to make kisses happen, but Tom has reservations about the latter.
“I can’t imagine my beautiful, lovely, bald husband with a ‘Bill Spencer’ wig on and having to kiss him! I don’t think I’m that good an actress! I just don’t have it in me!” Tom insisted.
Of course, Tom may have to get on board or accept a mannequin kiss instead if it comes down to it. This Bill and Katie reunion seems to be moving ahead, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
