The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will finally come out of hiding. Thomas appeared briefly in the latest B&B preview video – and he was looking different than the last time fans saw him. Since Thomas disappeared after his nightmare nuptials, he’s grown a beard and skipped a haircut or two.
Thomas has likely been too busy moping to be very concerned about his appearance. He’s hopefully been off thinking about the things that really matter – like his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samri).
Thomas’ new look suggests B&B wants him to seem wiser after this period of reflection. He’s probably come to realize just how much damage he did when he went off the rails.
Manipulative Thomas hurt a lot of people with his ‘Thope’ obsession, including Douglas, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and more.
However, we want to focus on Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) as the object of Thomas’ desire. Thomas was so fixated on Hope that he couldn’t concentrate on anything else.
As a result, Thomas became someone who’d do just about anything to be with Hope. He tried plot after plot to score the woman he wanted, but Thomas never considered Hope’s feelings or what was best for her.
B&B fans know Thomas was even willing to use little Douglas in his many schemes to win Hope over, so his behavior was abusive to them both.
Once Steffy’s on the mend following her recent motorcycle accident, Thomas will check in with his sister. This crash may serve as a reminder that life is short. Steffy may forgive Thomas for everything that’s gone down and suggest a clean slate, but he probably won’t think one of those is possible with Hope.
Will Steffy encourage Thomas to talk to Hope anyway? Steffy might argue that if her accident taught her anything, it’s that you have to say the things that aren’t getting said. Now that Thomas will seemingly have great remorse for how he treated Hope, Steffy may think he should say so.
Even if Hope doesn’t accept Thomas’ apology, Steffy might contend that Hope deserves to hear it. Regardless, there’s no way Thomas can avoid Hope forever! The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will eventually come face to face with Thomas for the first time since the wedding chaos.
Hope’s bound to feel rattled in that moment, but Thomas may insist he comes in peace. This should be Thomas’ chance to let Hope know how sorry he is and beg for forgiveness. Thomas may assure Hope that he wants to be a better man and truly means it.
