The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) made some rather troubling comments recently about John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) couldn’t help but notice how highly Hope spoke of the good doc. Hope even commented on how handsome Finn was and admitted that being married didn’t make her blind.
Uh-oh. Does B&B intend to head down the familiar road of Hope and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sharing a love interest? Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has been at the center of Steffy and Hope’s rivalry in the past, but Finn could become the man they fight over next.
After all, The Bold and the Beautiful has Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) as another potential conquest for Liam if they want Steffy and Hope to focus on Finn.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) has often had to compete with his brother in the romance department, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Wyatt and Liam fought over Flo eventually. It almost seems inevitable!
Likewise, Hope’s bound to get interested in Finn at some point if he sticks around long enough. Since Hope’s already noticing Finn’s good looks and praising him for being caring, she can see his positive qualities.
What happens if Liam manages to blow up his marriage? Will Hope eventually start inching in Finn’s direction?
It’s easy to imagine Hope pushing the idea that Liam and Steffy are always going to reunite in the end. Although Liam will ultimately try to back off and leave Steffy alone, we doubt he’ll be able to do it indefinitely.
Once “Lope” implodes, Hope could find herself wanting what Steffy has: a fresh start with a good-looking and compassionate guy like Finn.
Even if Liam remains in this story, The Bold and the Beautiful could just turn the usual love triangle into a love quad. Liam, Hope, Finn and Steffy might be the key players in a storyline with some possible romantic shifts.
Of course, just because Hope may wind up wanting Finn doesn’t mean she’ll get him! It seems like a shame for B&B to ruin Finn so soon by making him a waffler.
Even so, Hope might present some temptation and insecurities for “Sinn” to work through. Maybe Finn would have to show Steffy that she’s the only one he wants. Steffy’s been scarred by Liam’s flip-flopping, so it’d be reasonable for her to have fears that Finn might leave her for Hope, too.
If Finn stays by Steffy’s side, it could go a long way toward healing some of her old wounds.
