The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has a problem that can never truly be solved. As long as Hope is with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), she’ll always have to share him with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Part of Liam will always love Steffy and he shares a daughter with her, too. There’s a forever bond between Steffy and Liam that Hope can’t escape.
With that in mind, Hope has two options here. She can either learn to live with the Steffy sharing or she can seek her freedom. B&B has certainly been highlighting how much time Liam spends with Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray).
Hope will probably always feel bothered and threatened by Liam’s second family, so maybe a “Lope” breakup would be for the best.
Of course, breakups are rarely permanent on The Bold and the Beautiful, but we definitely can’t rule out the idea of Hope and Liam splitting for a while. Even if Steffy marries John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), that’s no guarantee of anything.
Hope can’t be sure Liam won’t drift back in Steffy’s direction as usual. There’s also the Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) drama to consider. Hope may find herself feeling sympathetic to Thomas after his eventual diagnosis, which could irk Liam.
Despite Thomas clearly having mental health issues, Liam may not fully recognize that Thomas isn’t to blame for his actions. It could lead to more conflict, even after Finn diagnoses Thomas and gets him on the right treatment path.
Since Hope and Liam’s problems may get worse in the months ahead, what should they do about them? Should Hope and Liam keep trying to work through things or split up instead? It might be wise to at least take a little break from each other.
Liam and Hope need to figure out a way to build trust and understanding, but some distance and time for reflection might help. Even playing the field could be beneficial if it helps Liam and Hope figure out what they really want!
