The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) secret could do serious damage to his marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). B&B fans know Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is a sensitive subject for Hope since they have a long-standing Liam rivalry.
Once Hope finds out Liam has gone behind her back with Steffy, it could leave their marriage hanging by a thread. However, Liam may pour his heart out and convince Hope to at least consider moving past this.
Liam never would’ve broken their marriage vows if he’d known the truth, which is that Hope didn’t cheat on him with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Even so, this is going to be a huge hurdle for Hope to even think about getting over. We might see Hope and Liam separate while she tries to make a definitive choice about the future of “Lope.” Meanwhile, Hope will likely grow closer to Thomas during his recovery.
Since we all know how Liam is, he may view Thomas as a threat again. It’s easy to imagine Liam believing Thomas is manipulating Hope through his recovery.
Liam may be haunted by the past and all the horrible things Thomas did before all this subdural hematoma drama. It may be tough for Liam to buy that Thomas is suddenly a changed man.
If Liam causes Thomas issues yet again, that would surely be the last straw for Hope. Even if Hope tries to get past Liam’s cheating blunder, nothing’s going to change if they can’t trust each other. Hope might find it ridiculous for Liam to believe Thomas is still a threat after everything he’s been through.
Liam wouldn’t have a right to say a word considering what he did with Steffy, but he might say it anyway! The Bold and the Beautiful history has proven that Liam’s a hypocrite who thinks he’s always right.
Liam could sabotage any progress he makes with Hope by voicing his suspicions about Thomas during the recovery process.
Bottom line, Hope’s going to be “Team Thomas” in many ways moving forward. If Liam’s Steffy hookup doesn’t fully tear “Lope” apart, then Liam’s lingering concerns about Thomas might. As other B&B news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
