The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will continue to bond with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in the months ahead. No matter how this plot to expose Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) true motives pans out, Liam’s always going to be a family with Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington).
They’ve committed to carving out more time for moments as a fam, so they’ll try to stick to that promise in 2020. Of course, having a blended family can sometimes be challenging.
Liam also shares a daughter with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), which is further complicated by the fact that Steffy was once raising Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline) herself. Liam wants to make sure Steffy bonds with Beth as well, so that means more sharing – and more jealousy from Hope.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope’s reaction to “Steam’s” connection could be a turn off for Liam. He may feel like Hope doesn’t trust him or doesn’t respect his bond with Kelly’s mom.
As for Hope, she’ll undoubtedly be right about Liam being drawn in Steffy’s direction as B&B spoilers she’ll catch Steffy and Liam in an act of passion – set up by Thomas of course. Hope’s been down this road enough to know when a Steffy and Liam reunion is brewing.
However, we have to consider Steffy’s perspective in all this. If Hope’s concerned about waffling Liam, shouldn’t Steffy be concerned as well? In other words, why would Steffy think things would be any different with Liam this time around?
Even if Liam drifts away and ultimately chooses Steffy, that doesn’t mean she has to choose him back. Steffy will have no guarantee that Liam will be loyal to her. For all she knows, Liam could change his mind again and get right back together with Hope.
Choosing Liam is always going to mean opening yourself up to heartbreak – and that goes for any potential love interest!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say we could see the story shift from “Lope” to “Steam” in 2020. This love triangle will be back on, but Steffy will ultimately have to decide what she’s willing to risk.
Liam may want Steffy, but will Steffy want Liam – at least once she really considers her options, perhaps for a new man, and the possible consequences? A Liam romance is always doomed until the next round of it, so there’s still time for Steffy to come to her senses.
Nevertheless, the Liam and Steffy pairing has been a popular one for B&B in the past. Based on 2020 preview info and the way things are shaping up onscreen, it looks like Steffy may indeed reunite with Liam. Of course many fans would prefer to see Steffy with a new man – will TPTB at Bold make that happen?
