The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Monday, April 20, reveal that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) continued their conversation at the beach house. Wyatt and Sally rehashed the fact that he and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) had asked Sally to leave the beach house and move into a medical facility where she could be properly cared for in her final days. Sally did her best to subtly guilt Wyatt into changing his mind.
However, Wyatt didn’t budge, even though he was clearly uncomfortable as Sally went on about how she understood why Flo didn’t want her there. Sally asked Wyatt to please not let Flo get in the way of them spending time together in her final days, and Sally expressed her desire to spend her final days on the beach.
Wyatt still didn’t budge, arguing that Sally was getting paler every day and that she had trouble walking, and that reality was going to set in and happen really quickly. Much to Sally’s chagrin, Wyatt said that he and Flo would do all they could to help her.
Meanwhile, in Dr. Penny Escobar’s (Monica Ruiz) office, Flo perused Sally’s medical records on Penny’s laptop. Penny then returned, and Flo closed the medical file and backed away from the laptop.
Penny wondered what Flo was still doing there, and she refused to discuss Sally with Flo further, saying that Sally’s heath concerns were her own business.
Over in the CEO office at Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) discussed Sally’s situation a bit, and they noted how proud they were of Wyatt for sticking by and helping Sally.
Soon, Wyatt arrived, and Katie could instantly tell that something was wrong. Katie and Quinn wondered whether something was wrong with Sally, and they talked a bit about Sally’s fighting nature.
Wyatt mentioned that Sally’s not really scared of anything, other than clowns and snakes. Katie again asked Wyatt what was wrong, and he revealed that he had asked Sally to move out.
Katie and Quinn were shocked, and Wyatt explained about Sally moving to a medical facility. Katie said that Wyatt didn’t seem convinced that it was really time for Sally to go. Wyatt looked uncomfortable.
Back at the beach house, Sally texted Wyatt a message about needing to rest due to all the packing, then put on some more makeup to look pale. Penny called, saying that Flo had stopped by again.
Penny griped about how Sally’s plan wasn’t working, and that it was time for her “miracle cure.” Sally refused, saying that she needed to find a way to get Wyatt away from Flo, and that she just needed a little more time.
Soon, Sally disconnected from Penny and Flo came through the door. Sally said that she was just going to take nap, and Flo said that she was here to talk with her. Sally surmised that Flo wanted to make sure that she was taking the whole moving out thing seriously. Flo didn’t say much, so Sally nervously went on about how appreciative she was of Flo’s sacrifice.
Flo dryly noted that Sally was saying a lot of kind words, even after she had asked Wyatt to have her move out. Flo then said, “Do you really feel anything but hatred towards me?” Sally nervously deflected the question, feigning that she was about to keel over and hobbling over to the couch.
Flo then noted that Sally’s symptoms sure have gotten worse suddenly, and she wondered if that was to be expected given Sally’s condition. Flo then noted that they didn’t even know what Sally had, and she proceeded to ask a couple pointed questions about Sally’s illness. Sally deflected, noting that her illness was “so personal.”
Sally then got up to walk Flo out, and Flo reached in her purse and pulled out a rubber snake, then flung it in front of Sally. Sally shrieked and ran across the room, jumping and yelling for Flo to get rid of the snake. Flo walked over to Sally and said, “It’s fake, just like you!”
Flo touched Sally’s face and rubbed off some makeup, telling Sally that she’s a fraud and she’s not dying…in fact, she’s not even sick. Flo told Sally that it was done, and that she was done. “Just wait until Wyatt finds out about this,” Flo said. “You might as well be dead because he’s not going to want anything to do with you ever again.”
