The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday August 17, tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will head over to Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) place for some support.
As B&B viewers know, Ridge has gotten himself into a real bind – specifically, he ran off to Vegas with Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards), where he got so drunk that he doesn’t remember what went down, and now Shauna’s got him believing that he voluntary divorced Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that night.
Shauna is the one who set the divorce process in motion when she texted Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) pretending to be Ridge and instructed him to file Ridge and Brooke’s divorce papers.
Ridge has no way of knowing that he wasn’t the one who sent the text to Carter, and as far as Ridge knows, this is all his fault. Ridge would much rather still be married to Brooke at this point, but what’s done is done.
On Monday’s B&B episode, Ridge will tell Steffy all about what he did, and Steffy is going to be horrified about the whole thing.
Of course, Ridge has been primarily focused on the effect of his new marriage on his relationship with Brooke, but Steffy might bring up some other issues that Ridge needs to consider – namely, that he and Shauna didn’t have a prenup and that Shauna stands to gain a lot financially through her marriage to Ridge.
At any rate, it seems that Steffy will want some answers from her dad about what went down in Vegas, and all Ridge will be able to tell her is what he’s gleaned from Shauna’s story, since he remembers virtually nothing from that night.
Meanwhile, Brooke will seek some advice from Eric Forrester (John McCook) about what’s going on with her, Ridge, and Shauna. Of course, Eric is typically a huge Ridge and Brooke supporter, so he’ll likely lend an ear to Brooke and will probably urge her to fight for her marriage.
Brooke will likely be wondering what she should do next – should she push Ridge to seek an annulment from Shauna? Or should she just call her relationship with Ridge quits since he would even consider marrying another woman…even when drunk?
It looks like Eric will give his opinion on the matter, and perhaps he’ll help Brooke to dig in and fight Ridge, even though she’s in a position of weakness now that Shauna has become Mrs. Ridge Forrester.
Well, B&B spoilers for Monday’s episode also say that Brooke and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will end up coming face to face, so perhaps Quinn will happen upon Eric and Brooke chatting.
Something tells us that Quinn won’t be able to help herself from gloating about Ridge’s marriage to Shauna, and that will likely lead to a confrontation between Brooke and Quinn.
But Quinn needs to be careful about how much she gloats, since she could accidentally tip off Brooke that she had something to do with Shauna’s decision to text Carter pretending to be Ridge.
B&B viewers know that Quinn was the brainchild behind that text, and if Quinn says too much, then Brooke might figure out that some fraud was at work here. We’ll see what happens between Quinn and Brooke, but chances are it’s not going to be pretty.
