The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Monday, November 16, reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) worked on a design in the Forrester CEO office.
Zende was distracted, and he told Hope and Steffy about Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) engagement.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) slipped in the room and learned about Carter and Zoe’s engagement, expressing happiness for Zoe. “Do you mean that?” Zende asked. “Zoe deserves real love after everything I put her through,” Thomas said sincerely. “I’m very sorry for the things that I’ve done.”
Later, Thomas and Zende worked together on a design, and Hope and Steffy were happy that the two men were getting along together well. “Together you two are next level,” Steffy gushed, while Hope thanked Thomas for being willing to round out the team.
Zende took off, and Steffy again complimented Thomas on working so well with Zende. Thomas said that teamwork makes for a stronger design house, and that everything he’s doing is for Hope and her line. After Steffy took off, Thomas thanked Hope again for the chance to work together again.
Through Hope and Thomas’ discussion, Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) name came up, and Thomas said that he was most ashamed of how he had used his son in the past. Thomas said that despite what he had done, Thomas was still the same amazing kid.
When Thomas mentioned missing Douglas, Hope said that there was a way to remedy that, and that Douglas missed Thomas, too. “Let’s go to the cabin right now,” Hope said. Thomas was surprised and happy, and Hope thought that Douglas would love to see his father.
Meanwhile, over in the Forrester design office, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) gushed over Zoe’s huge engagement ring. Carter said that he didn’t want to waste any time, and that he intends on making Zoe very happy.
Zoe rehashed how the smoke alarm went off right after Carter proposed, and Paris asked if Zende knew about the engagement. Zoe said that he did.
Paris said that she was proud of Zoe for rebuilding her life from the ground up, and Zoe humorously asked if Carter wanted to officiate the wedding. Paris said that she could be a bridesmaid, and that Zende could be best man. Zoe looked uncomfortable at that suggestion.
Zende walked in, asking when the big day was. Carter said that he hoped the wedding would be sooner rather than later, and Paris said that she’d help plan the special day. Zende said that when you find love, you have to move, or it might slip away. “I wish the best for both of you,” Zende concluded.
Later, Zende and Zoe worked alone in the design office, and Zende mentioned that Zoe’s ring was blinding. Zoe said that the ring was the most beautiful thing she ever had. “Well, you’ve got that face,” Zende said.
Zoe asked what Zende wanted to tell her the other night before Carter and Paris came in. “It doesn’t matter anymore,” Zende said sadly, and he wished Zoe a full and rewarding life. “I have no doubt that you’ll have that with Carter,” Zende said.
Over at the beach house, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) came back home from the beach and wanted to get amorous, but they realized that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) could walk in at any moment. “The mom we really need to be concerned about is yours,” Wyatt told Flo.
Flo soon learned that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) was still living at the Forrester mansion. Flo was stunned and didn’t know what to make of it, but she didn’t want Wyatt to judge before hearing Shauna’s side of the story. Wyatt defended Quinn, then openly wondered how Shauna could do something like this.
Suddenly, Shauna walked in the front door and she promptly explained that she only stayed at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) because he insisted. Flo squawked at Shauna for not telling her about staying at Eric’s, and Wyatt wondered how Shauna could call herself Quinn’s friend and still live there.
Shauna insisted that she was working FOR Quinn, not against her, but that Eric was having a tough time being able to forgive Quinn. Wyatt said that Shauna should leave the mansion like Quinn asked her to do in the first place. “Are you trying to take her place in Eric’s life?” Wyatt asked pointedly.
