The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, September 28, tease that everyone will be reeling from the horrible scene that’s just unfolded involving Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) at Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house.
As B&B viewers know, Steffy felt cornered when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) showed up and (at least in Steffy’s mind) took Brooke, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) side and insisted that she get help.
From there, Steffy pulled out a knife and appeared to be threatening to harm others or to harm herself. Ultimately, Ridge talked Steffy down, and he left Brooke’s place with Steffy to head back over to the cliff house to deal with his daughter and offer her support.
It doesn’t seem like things could escalate any further, as Steffy has really hit rock bottom, and we’ll likely see Ridge caring for his daughter on Monday’s episode of the show.
Liam will also have a lot to absorb. As B&B viewers know, Liam totally broke down after Steffy and Ridge took off from Brooke’s place. Liam is probably just now realizing the enormous effect that his actions over the past few years have had on Steffy.
The ongoing love triangle between himself, Hope, and Steffy has taken its toll on Steffy, and the fact that Liam chose Hope and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) over her and Kelly hit hard.
Clearly, Steffy has a major vulnerability when it comes to being rejected, and this started in her childhood when she felt that she, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and her sister Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy) were abandoned by Ridge in favor of his relationship with Brooke.
As B&B viewers know, this all came spilling out on Friday’s episode of B&B, and Ridge will probably have a hard time putting that aside as he tends to Steffy.
Back to Liam, it looks like he’ll be on a mission to make sure that Steffy gets the professional help that she needs. According to B&B spoilers, Liam will pay John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) a visit, during which he’ll disclose the news of Steffy’s dependence on pain meds.
Of course, Finn is going to be surprised at first, since (a) he didn’t prescribe Steffy more pills, and (b) he was recently with Steffy and she seemed to be doing quite well.
Liam will have a lot of intel to give to Finn, including how Steffy passed out from the pills and could have endangered Kelly, her tirade at Brooke’s place, and the fact that she was armed with a knife and could have hurt someone or herself.
Once Finn hears all of this, he’s going to realize that Steffy is in a terrible place and that she desperately needs professional help right now.
Of course, Finn might feel like he contributed in some way to this problem, but it doesn’t appear that Liam is going to pass judgment or play the blame game with him.
Rather, Liam will probably see that Finn did the right thing by denying Steffy another prescription for her meds, and that none of them could have predicted that Steffy would get drugs from an illegal source.
It looks like Liam and Finn’s conversation will be the first of their efforts to stage an intervention for Steffy. B&B spoilers indicate that Liam, Finn, and Ridge will stage the intervention together – and Finn will probably be able to set up a rehab facility for Steffy that will be waiting for her once she ultimately agrees to seek treatment.
There should be some emotional scenes coming as Finn, Ridge, and Liam all explain to Steffy that the care about her and that she needs help.
