If B&B wants to keep Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as a viable character, then she’ll need to skate free for an extended period of plot time. That space would allow her to keep working on Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
Sally’s problems were that Wyatt would not only catch her and Penny, as they tried to carry Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) out of his home, but that he would learn about the terminal illness ruse. However, Sally could attempt to discredit Penny based on her having knocked Flo unconscious.

The reason why Penny panicked and attacked Flo is because Bowden’s character persisted and discovered the truth. Fans recall that she developed suspicions about Sally’s story and pressed Penny at her office.
Flo took advantage of momentary Penny’s absence to look at the patient portal, which is how she determined that Sally was totally healthy. Flo then rushed to Wyatt’s house, where Sally was leaning on her walker prop.
The subsequent reveal happened with Penny later walking in on Flo and Sally’s contentious conversation. Knowing that her medical license was at risk, Penny hit Flo on the back of her head.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Wyatt Spencer Is Persuadable
Wyatt has trust issues, but has also demonstrated that he’s able to be influenced by both Sally and Flo. But assume that Flo doesn’t come to for awhile.
Sally would clearly use the opportunity to play on Wyatt’s vulnerable state. She wasn’t involved in knocking Flo out and could try to marginalize Penny entirely. Ruiz’ character wouldn’t stand for that and respond by revealing the terminal condition hoax. Sally could pretend that her friend was playing a sick game and tried to make her believe she was dying.
It would take some work by B&B’s writing staff to have Brooks’ character buy what Sally is trying to sell him. But if Flo isn’t a factor, then it’s possible Wyatt will be open to what Sally has to say.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Timed Gamble Involves High Risk
Sally would know that her latest lie is tied to Flo remaining unconscious. Hope’s character could have her plan extended if Flo wakes up and can’t recall the details of the day Penny attacked her.
Savvy soap fans know that all would eventually be revealed. But there’s no way to tell if Wyatt’s feelings for Sally would reignite while Flo remains out cold.
