The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) just may have finally had it with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). While Brooke seeks reconciliation, B&B viewers know that Ridge may be ready to break things off with her permanently.
B&B Spoilers – Ridge Wants to Move On
Is it time for Ridge to push divorce paperwork through? It’s a good bet that many B&B fans may be divorcees themselves. The statistics of divorce in North America stand at anywhere between 40 – 50%, and Ridge might be ready to add himself to that number.
While some might point to the video Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) shared as the impetus for Ridge’s decision, the fact is… Ridge may have already begun to separate himself from Brooke both emotionally and psychologically.
How many times has Brooke strayed from the bounds of her and Ridge’s marriage? While some B&B fans might point back to the fact that Ridge too has strayed, it doesn’t matter. Once one partner, like Ridge, starts to view the relationship as dead weight, the end cannot be far behind.
In that case, some people like Ridge, might begin to look at other potential partners before divorce papers are filed or signed. GH viewers may not blame Ridge then, if he already views Brooke as his past and perhaps someone like Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) is his future.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Still Feels She and Ridge are Together
As anyone who watched recent episodes of the show know, Brooke may be slightly delusional. It’s not strange, by the way, for Brooke to be blinded to the fact that her husband is ready leave her.
Although it’s a difficult (and sad) subject to broach, the truth is that many people, perhaps like Brooke, go through the motions of a relationship never dreaming that there could come a real end.
For someone like Brooke, there is always hope. There is always tomorrow, and surely, Ridge will come around. Surely, Ridge will have an epiphany and realize that they were meant to be together.
For people like Brooke who cannot be sated by one relationship, but who cannot let go once they’ve taken hold of someone’s essence even once, the ceremony of innocence is drowned.
Like succubae, Brooke takes men when they are least aware and drains their life essence, as she loves them. GH fans know that Brooke seems to feed off of drama, and she left her innocence behind a long, long time ago.
Meanwhile, the best, like Ridge, lack all conviction because they know that those they loved (like Brooke) will simply find another and wallow in passionate intensity.
With that in mind, why should Ridge feel guilty for leaving a wanderer? Brooke is doing what it is in her nature to do. Ridge can’t change her. The effort would be wasted. GH fans might agree that it may actually be a mercy to Brooke should Ridge decide to release her from their marriage vows.
Bold and Beautiful spoilers – It’s Not Too Soon for Ridge to Be With Shauna
While there is no timetable for grieving over a lost love or a ruined marriage, Ridge might find himself thinking back over his mistakes as he grows older. Many people do. Yet B&B fans may agree that with what life Ridge still has left, it might be better to find comfort in the arms of a woman like Shauna.
That’s because, as Quinn has suggested, Shauna is emotionally and mentally stable. Shauna is able to commit with all of her being. Shauna may be the actual definition of “soulmate” when it comes to being with Ridge.
Those who have been married and divorced know that it’s impossible to forget all the broken hopes and dreams one once shared, Ridge is no different. However, who Ridge was with Brooke may not be who Ridge is with Brooke any longer.
Perhaps Ridge sees himself as a better man with Shauna. If that’s the case, the B&B viewers may see Ridge leave Brooke sooner rather than later as he jets to Las Vegas in order to be with the new Mrs. Forrester.
