The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will undoubtedly have something to say about the new man in Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) life. As Steffy’s dad, it’s practically Ridge’s job to meddle – at least on soaps! Ridge should become quite curious about Steffy’s next love interest when new episodes return.
It’ll be interesting to see exactly how Ridge feels about a new romance for Steffy. That may depend on what this new guy is like and how Ridge gets along with him. Since this new man will be spending a lot of time with Steffy, it’s reasonable to speculate that he may wind up working at Forrester Creations.
If so, Ridge might like this guy from the get-go. He may welcome this man to the FC team and fully approve of the decision to bring him on board. Of course, Rafe’s feelings could change if this guy goes from an employee to someone crushing on Steffy. It’s different when you’re talking about your daughter’s love life!
Part of Ridge might be glad Steffy’s moving on from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who’s settled down with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). B&B fans know Ridge only wants happiness for Steffy, but he could be torn about whether this new man can give her that.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say it could be a complicated situation for Ridge.
Fathers can be awfully protective of their daughters, especially on daytime dramas. Ridge is bound to thoroughly grill this guy and make it clear that he won’t stand for Steffy getting hurt. Steffy could get a bit irritated if Ridge crosses the line.
That could lead to some father-daughter conflict over this new man, but Steffy would undoubtedly insist she’s a grown woman and knows what she’s doing.
Steffy might want Ridge to understand that this is a good thing and promise to be careful with her heart. Unfortunately, hearts can still be broken – no matter how careful you are!
That could remain a worry in the back of Ridge’s mind, but Ridge would just want to be a loving, attentive dad. It’s Ridge’s job to look out for Steffy, so that should be what he’ll do.
