The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have a heart-to-heart with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), who recently woke up in the hospital and found out Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) saved his life.
Thomas is incredibly grateful to Hope – and so is Ridge. That’s something they can agree upon since Thomas might not have survived if Hope hadn’t been there when he collapsed.
It’s clear that Thomas still has extremely strong feelings for Hope. He hopefully won’t be kissing any more mannequins now, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stop pining for the woman he loves.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will make a shocking confession to Ridge during the week of December 14-18.
Instead of playing mind games or trying to act like he’s moved on with his life, Thomas will admit to his father that he’s stuck on Hope. Since Thomas will express his love so genuinely, Ridge should be moved in a way.
Thomas will understand that Hope is committed to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), but he’ll just want to be honest for once about what’s in his heart.
Later, Ridge will pull Hope aside to offer a speech about how thankful he is for her. Ridge will feel like Hope is as good as gold and will want her to know just how much she means to their family.
Ridge may acknowledge that things are awkward considering Thomas’ lingering feelings, but he’ll appreciate Hope’s compassion and generosity.
Thomas means the world to Ridge, so he’ll start to understand his son’s connection to Hope a bit better. In other words, Thomas’ feelings will seem less like an obsession and more like unrequited love.
It’s easy to see that B&B writers are trying to shift Ridge’s perception – and dare we say make him root for “Thope” to live happily ever after!
Based on all the clues, it probably won’t be long until Ridge is hoping Thomas, Hope and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) can all be a united family.
Of course, Hope would continue to raise Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) with Liam, but Ridge may grow to like the idea of a “Thope” family unit.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) secret hookup will be exposed sooner or later. Once that happens, Ridge may think Thomas can be the devoted man Hope needs.
Naturally, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) won’t agree at all due to Thomas’ troubling history.
This should lead to major strife in Brooke and Ridge’s marriage, so Steffy and Liam’s one-night stand will put yet another relationship in jeopardy! We’ll keep you posted as other B&B news and updates emerge.
