The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers revealed that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) seems to believe that she and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) were made for each other. B&B fans saw Brooke attempting to reconcile with Ridge following his return to Forrester Mansion from Las Vegas. The question is, does Ridge believe Brooke is his soulmate or Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards)?
B&B Spoilers – Ridge’s Soulmate
Some B&B fans may scoff at Brooke’s laughable attempts to paint herself as Ridge’s soulmate. After all, those who have watched B&B enough know that even though Ridge was her “first,” Brooke’s been through a laundry list of men. In fact, Brooke seems to treat men (perhaps with the exception of Ridge) like Kleenex.
Viewers know that Brooke has slept her way through at least seven men … one of whom was Ridge’s father, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and one of whom was Ridge’s brother, Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher). Moreover, most of these men were married to other women at the time!
Some B&B fans might agree then, that it could be pushing the bounds of Ridge’s credulity for anyone to suggest that he and Brooke are “soulmates.”
In stark contrast, some B&B viewers are already wishing that Ridge would cut ties with Brooke for the last time and allow himself to be happy with someone who could be a true soulmate … someone like Shauna.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge is a Bit of a Hypocrite
While it would be easy to castigate Brooke (she is such a sinner after all), Ridge actually isn’t that far behind. Ridge too has kissed others while married to Brooke. In fact, Shauna is one of those whom Ridge has kissed!
Could the outrage some B&B fans feel over Brooke’s kiss with Bill Spencer Jr. (Don Diamont) be due to just a little bit of a double standard? Why is it okay for Ridge to kiss other women, but the moment Brooke kisses someone else it’s the end of their marriage? That doesn’t seem fair to Brooke, does it?
The real question here is whether it’s Brooke cheating on Ridge, or Ridge cheating on Brooke … is that the sort of thing that happens between soulmates? Maybe Brooke should have looked up that definition in a dictionary somewhere before attempting to apply the term to her relationship with Ridge.
B&B Spoilers – Ridge Might Be Done With Brooke Forever
Regardless of who is a hypocrite and who is not, B&B fans know that Brooke and Ridge’s marriage has been hanging by a thread for some time. Now, with Brooke’s kiss and Ridge’s subsequent dalliance with Shauna, that string could be cut forever.
Some B&B fans may recall that Ridge decided to file for divorce already, but the paperwork hasn’t been pushed through. Some believe that Ridge may have had one last sentimental thought toward Brooke that prevented him from simply calling his lawyer and ending his marriage for good.
However, Ridge’s marriage may be doomed and Brooke just may not realize it yet. Her entire, recent conversation with Ridge at the Forrester Mansion may be tragic because it’s a conversation that’s simply too late.
That’s because some B&B viewers have floated the theory that Ridge’s idea of a soulmate is actually Shauna, and he married her while in Las Vegas. If there is any truth to that, B&B fans can expect Brooke to be furious. Suddenly, Ridge’s “soulmate” just may become Ridge’s antagonist from hell.
