The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one storyline has fans worried, but for a different reason than before. When B&B first revealed that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was dying, there were major concerns that she might truly be killed off. After all, a deadly exit has been promised for one beloved character in 2020.
However, it’s becoming less likely that it’s Sally based on how the story’s played out so far. Sally wasn’t even given an official diagnosis, so The Bold and the Beautiful writers can whip up any miracle cure they want. There’s a built-in way out of Sally’s grim fate.
Of course, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) has been going around spilling Sally’s secret like crazy. As more people get brought in the loop, they’re all feeling sorry for Sally and trying to make sure she’s happy in her final weeks.
What kind of story would it be if Sally just found bliss in these final moments and then died? That’s just not all that soapy.
We also know that Sally’s set to survive beyond that one-month mark her doctors laid out for her. There’s a good chance Sally will find some way to make a full recovery eventually. There’s just far more drama in that. Unfortunately, it also presents the possibility that Sally’s character will be sacrificed another way.
For whatever reason, B&B’s been pushing Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) as some kind of heroine since her debut. She posed as “Phoebe Forrester” aka Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) birth mother, but the writers have always treated her like a misunderstood victim.
Now it’s all about Flo and her sacrifices – first a kidney for Katie and now her boyfriend for Sally. Flo’s willing to wait on being with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), but that could get tricky if Sally survives.
Sadly, The Bold and the Beautiful hasn’t seemed all that invested in “Wally.” Even now, it’s kind of disheartening to know Wyatt’s only doing this to comfort Sally in her time of need. It’s easy to imagine B&B writers turning on Sally and making her the villain of this story.
After all, Flo can apparently do no wrong now! Sally will likely find out Wyatt knows the truth about her illness, but she’ll probably feel like she’s reeling Wyatt back in by then. What happens if Sally learns she’s going to recovery? She might keep it a secret and try to string Wyatt along for a while.
Sally could let Wyatt believe she’s still dying to buy more time. She may want Wyatt to stand by her and hopefully lock in a true reunion, not one built on pity. Sally may think she can make Wyatt fall back in love with her if she’s given a longer opportunity.
Naturally, that would paint Flo as the victim and set up her own reunion with Wyatt. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates and news say trouble could be brewing. Do you think B&B’s setting Sally up for a downfall?
