The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) condition will determine a lot about the rest of Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) storyline. Flo was knocked out cold by Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz), so there’s a moment of truth coming. How much will Flo recall when she wakes up?
Flo took quite a blow to the head, so it’s certainly possible she’ll have amnesia when she regains consciousness. B&B writers could give Flo some minor memory issues – just enough so that she doesn’t remember Sally was running a scam.
However, they could also make Flo a blank slate. What if Flo doesn’t even know who she is – much less than she was in love with this guy named Wyatt? That would be a dream come true for Sally! The Bold and the Beautiful fans know Sally’s convinced that if Flo were out of the picture, she could win Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) back.
That seems significant as we head into this new chapter of the story. There’s a chance Penny and Sally will take Flo physically out of the picture by holding her hostage. Of course, that wouldn’t be a solution that’d work out for Sally long-term. Since B&B isn’t going to make Sally a killer, she couldn’t expect to hold Flo captive forever.
A better story route would be an amnesiac Flo taking herself out of the picture. Let’s look at this from Flo’s perspective. If Flo awakened and couldn’t recall her love story with Wyatt, she’d have no attachment to him.
Once Flo got updates on the Sally situation, she’d absolutely think Wyatt should be with this “dying” chick. Flo might be appalled with herself for ever standing in the way!
This would also bring some fun opportunities for Flo to hear the bogus adoption story. Flo might be disgusted to learn she posed as a birth mom and helped someone steal a baby. It’d be a good way to relive the horror and remind everyone that Flo’s made her fair shake of mistakes.
As for Sally, she’d have it made thanks to this lucky break. Wyatt would be with Sally and encourage her to fight for survival. He’d battle a broken heart over Flo rejecting him, but Sally would be happy to mend it. By the time Sally “recovered,” Wyatt might be so amazed by Sally’s resilience that he fell in love all over again.
Naturally, Flo could face a memory flood sooner or later and ruin the “Wally” bliss! A good dose of amnesia for Flo would give Sally what she wants and then yank it away in the end. That seems like a story path B&B might want to take. We’ll keep you posted as other B&B news emerges.
