The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will refuse to give up on what she wants. B&B fans know Sally’s determined to win Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) back, but she now realizes the threat of losing her isn’t enough. Sally plans to have Wyatt’s baby as a way to reel him in, but that plot won’t work out.
At some point in the coming episodes, Sally will find herself in the hospital. Flo will snatch Sally’s ankle, which will cause Sally to take a tumble. It looks like Sally will be knocked out, so there may be some concerns over her head injury later.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s latest preview video shows an ashamed Sally in her hospital bed. Someone on her medical team asks if Sally’s ready to receive visitors, so who will want to see her?
Flo and Wyatt will surely want to visit Sally once everything’s out in the open. The same goes for Katie Logan (Heather Tom) once she hears that Sally was running a scam.
Of course, there’s something interesting to consider here. We have to wonder why B&B’s putting Sally in the hospital at all. There are plenty of other ways The Bold and the Beautiful could’ve taken this storyline.
Sally could’ve gone on the run or been arrested immediately, but B&B chose the sympathetic angle of making her an injured patient. It seems like this is the turning point for Sally, who looks remorseful in the promo clip.
Could there even be a reason for Sally’s instability? Maybe a doctor could discover some sort of chemical imbalance or another condition that could be rectified with medication. Flo and even Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) are starting to think that Sally’s really off her rocker here.
It’s clear that Sally isn’t quite herself these days, so maybe there’s a deeper problem than Sally’s heartbreak – just as Flo suggested.
Putting Sally in the hospital like this could lead to her finally getting the help she needs. It’d be a twist for Sally to fake an illness because of an actual illness – one that Sally can conquer.
A new diagnosis might be how The Bold and the Beautiful lets Sally off the hook. Whatever the case, Sally won’t look proud of herself once she’s hospitalized.
After Sally finds some clarity, she should realize she’s been out of control. Sally’s probably going to deliver some apologies soon enough.
