The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the CBS soap is facing a problem when it comes to Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). Although B&B writers have tried their best to redeem Flo, some fans still can’t get past Flo’s role in the stolen Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) fiasco.
Flo posed as the fake birth mom, which led to great pain for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Since Flo never truly paid the price for her actions, it’s been a difficult character hurdle.
When it’s time to redeem a character, it’s helpful if he or she can suffer for a while. With Flo, it felt like it was all brushed under the rug too quickly. Flo sacrificed a kidney to save Katie Logan (Heather Tom), but it wasn’t enough in some viewers’ eyes.
B&B fans know Flo lashed out at Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) over her fake illness scam, but Flo was part of a scam, too – one that did far more damage! So how can The Bold and the Beautiful fix Flo after the fake birth mom drama? Is there a way for Flo to pay the price so we can all truly move on?
Going back to that suffering idea, maybe The Bold and the Beautiful could let Flo feel the same pain she caused. Should Flo get pregnant and become the show’s next stolen baby victim?
Of course, the storyline wouldn’t be exactly the same, but they could put Flo in a similar situation. Baby swap stories are a common soap trope that daytime dramas return to over and over again.
Depending on how things go after B&B’s back with new episodes, both Flo and Sally could end up with buns in the oven. If Flo’s held hostage for a while, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) might sleep with Sally while Flo’s out of the picture.
That could set up Wyatt’s reunion with Flo later and a pregnancy for both women. There’s always the potential for a baby switch when you have two pregnancies!
If Sally’s baby were to die, that could easily lead to her stealing Flo’s baby. Regardless of how it might play out, perhaps it’d be good for Flo to understand the sorrow she caused.
Putting Flo at the center of baby swap storyline might be the perfect route to take. It could potentially help fans see Flo in a new light if she suffers like Hope, Liam and Steffy did.
