The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fans are excited about the new man in her life. Tanner Novlan recently debuted as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan – and it’s been confirmed that he’s a love interest for Steffy. Many B&B viewers are thrilled to know Steffy will finally stop battling Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) over Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
However, there’s another woman on canvas that’s been mistreated in the love interest department. How many times is B&B going to let Katie be a doormat? It seems like every time Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) hurts her, Katie eventually takes him back.
Although Katie claims she’s not sure she can forgive this time, the truth is she’s weak when it comes to Bill.
Unfortunately, Bill and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) always seem to find their way back to each other. B&B has a real problem with women passing the same man back and forth multiple times.
Since Bold and the Beautiful fans are so thrilled over Finn and the idea of some fresh blood, maybe they should build on that idea. Should Katie get a new love interest, too?
It never hurts to add another hunk to the canvas – and we can think of one soap actor who’d be a great hire. Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives) recently announced he’s finished filming at DOOL, so should B&B pursue him?
Vaughan has also had roles on General Hospital and The Young and the Restless, so he might as well come on over to The Bold and the Beautiful next!
As far as pairings go, Vaughan seems like he’d be fantastic working opposite Heather Tom. The Bold and the Beautiful could create a new character who’s Katie’s perfect match. Maybe they could even tie this new character to another one who’s already on canvas.
Finn could probably use a family member or two eventually, so what if his estranged older brother shows up? Vaughan could easily slide right in that role. There’d be tons of possibilities if B&B brought Vaughan on board.
Vaughan also has a role on OWN’s Queen Sugar, but he may be open to other options – especially since he’s so familiar with the world of soaps. Would you like to see Greg Vaughan on B&B? Do you think Vaughan should play a new man for Katie?
