The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Should Thomas Stay a Bad Boy or Reform Completely – B&B Faces Major Character Dilemma?

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Should Thomas Stay a Bad Boy or Reform Completely – B&B Faces Major Character Dilemma?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show will have to handle a dilemma when B&B returns with new episodes. B&B fans know Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was left brokenhearted and humiliated after his latest wedding debacle. Thomas was publicly shamed for using Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is his plot to marry Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) felt like he’d been played by his son and expressed his angry disappointment. Hope made it crystal clear she’d never be with Thomas, and Douglas turned against his dad, too. It was a rock-bottom moment for Thomas, so it seems like there’s nowhere to go but up!

Thomas fled the scene and wasn’t in the picture for a while, so he’s hopefully been doing some soul-searching. Perhaps Thomas has even been getting some professional help as he works to turn his life around.

Of course, The Bold and the Beautiful has a bit of a problem on their hands. Thomas’ behavior has been abusive in many ways, so they have to make some changes if he’s going to stick around.

After all, it’d be absurd for Thomas to keep fooling his loved ones over and over. Thomas can’t keep putting on an act and pulling the wool over people’s eyes. He’ll have to become at least a slightly better man if he’s going to stick around and have a firm place on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The dilemma lies in how far B&B will take things. Thomas functions best as a bad boy and has almost become a character that fans love to hate. Although Thomas’ schemes have been hurtful and horrible, it’s also been fun to watch him wreak havoc.

Thomas is the kind of character that can deliver surprises. You never know what he’s got up his sleeve, and that offers a reason to tune in for Thomas’ trick of the week. If Thomas completely reforms, B&B runs the risk of him being boring.

“Nice” Thomas may not offer the same devious appeal that viewers have come to expect from Matthew Atkinson’s fantastic portrayal. This bad boy thing is really where Atkinson shines! So what’s the solution? The best thing The Bold and the Beautiful writers could probably do is reform Thomas just enough so he’s not a total menace.

Thomas looks insane with this Hope obsession, so that’s gotta go. He also can’t be abusive to Douglas because that’s just cruel and not something most fans seem interested in witnessing. However, Thomas can still be a schemer!

Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) has found redemption as a better person, but she still resorts to mild versions of her old tricks when necessary. Likewise, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) maintains his bad boy appeal through his attitude and occasional slipups.

Bill remains a schemer at times despite his attempt to be a family man, so “Dollar Bill” is still “Dollar Bill.”

It seems like Thomas needs to follow in their footsteps. B&B can tone down Thomas’ twisted tactics without turning him into a totally different person. Do you want to see Thomas completely reformed or should he stay a bit of a bad boy? Do you agree there has to be a happy medium?
