The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is now single and ready to mingle. Why is B&B so reluctant to let Steffy find love and happiness? Steffy could really use a new man, but the show just hasn’t been willing to cast a fresh hunk for her so far.
That could change at some point, but it’s probably a good idea to look at options already on canvas. B&B bypassed their latest chance at a Steffy, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) triangle. Although Steffy struggled with renewed feelings for Liam, she ultimately decided he belonged with Hope.
Many Bold and the Beautiful fans weren’t keen on another round of “Steam,” so Steffy’s decision was welcome news. Of course, that also leaves Steffy back at square one in the romance department. Who should Steffy be paired with next? The show’s obvious options for Steffy present some problems.
We’ve established that B&B clearly didn’t want to do “Steam” again – not right now anyway. Steffy and Liam’s romance will inevitably come back around at some point, but let’s take Liam off the table in this discussion.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) happens to be another leading man in Steffy’s age bracket, but he’s also her brother. That’s one more way the show’s thwarting Steffy’s romantic bliss. The pairing options she has are either related to her or have been done to death.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) isn’t a good option either since he’s got enough woman fighting over him. Wyatt has his hands full with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so there’s no need to throw Steffy in, too. To be honest, Wyatt and Steffy’s chemistry was never great anyway.
So what’s B&B going to do if they won’t bring on a new man for Steffy? Perhaps The Bold and the Beautiful should revisit a pairing that was never given a real chance. Viewers will recall that Steffy hooked up with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), who pushed her to choose him once upon a time.
This might be the ideal opportunity to reconsider “Still” since Steffy’s single and Bill blew things up with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). When Steffy cheated on Liam with Bill, their love scene was smoking and memorable! Bill’s still got it, doesn’t he? He’s the perfect guy to date someone a bit younger than him.
Bill and Steffy fans have been waiting patiently for “Still” to have a true shot. This would open the door to all kinds of new stories – like Kelly Spencer’s (Colette and Avalon Gray) paternity being revisited or even just Liam and Bill’s reignited feud.
