The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s (Steffy Forrester) upcoming maternity leave could bring a bittersweet opportunity.
Assuming B&B doesn’t temporarily recast the part, Steffy will have to head off canvas for a while. There are several ways the show could go about this thanks to the recent “Steam” hookup and the fallout that’s brewing.
Steffy doesn’t want John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to know she slept with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), so she’ll try to keep that under wraps as long as possible.
However, this secret should come out sooner rather than later. It doesn’t seem like a shocker that B&B writers will keep bottled up while Steffy’s off screen, so it’ll need to be exposed before Wood’s maternity leave.
Naturally, Steffy and Liam’s hot night together could serve as an easy breakup strategy for “Sinn.” It wouldn’t make sense for Steffy to leave town for an extended period of time while she’s trying to work on her relationship with Finn.
A more logical explanation would be for Steffy to leave LA in despair once Finn calls it quits. Of course, The Bold and the Beautiful has finally found a successful new pairing for Steffy.
It seems like Finn and Steffy have already earned plenty of fans, so many of them are willing to forgive and forget this whole Liam betrayal blunder.
There’s no reason to throw Steffy and Finn’s romance away after all the buildup. This is still a great chance at a clean slate for Steffy – a future that doesn’t include Liam, who she’d always have to share with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Finn could still be the guy for Steffy if he’s willing to move past the cheating eventually. It’s possible Steffy will take some time to deal with her Liam issues off canvas. Steffy might leave town after getting dumped and find a way to move on from Liam once and for all!
Maybe Steffy could gain a sense of clarity during this time away. Although a “Sinn” split would be painful, it might be the wakeup call Steffy needs to understand that she has to put Liam behind her forever.
Once Wood’s maternity leave wraps up, Steffy could find her strength again and return on a mission to win Finn back. Steffy might do whatever it takes to show Finn he’s the guy for her! We’ll pass along updates as other news pops up.
