The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will face a tough battle due to her reliance on painkillers. Steffy’s already spinning out and things are only going to get worse once Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) turns down Steffy’s request for another prescription refill. Steffy will be determined to get more drugs by any means necessary.
This is all building to a full-blown addiction, which Finn will help Steffy overcome. That’ll be the main story for “Sinn” this fall, although they’ll certainly fall hard while they tackle this project together.
Beating this addiction will have to become Steffy’s priority, so it’ll be interesting to see how that affects the pace of Finn and Steffy’s blooming relationship.
We know Steffy will initially try to use Finn’s interest in her to her advantage. Steffy will be so focused on getting more pills that she’s willing to manipulate Finn if she has to.
Of course, that plan may not work – and even if it does, it’ll just be Steffy’s addiction messing with her mind. It won’t be long until B&B moves past that portion of the story and concentrates on how Finn can help Steffy.
Finn will serve a rock for Steffy – someone she can truly rely on as she works toward a brighter future. Naturally, Finn will want to be part of that future, but he won’t want to feel like he’s preying on Steffy while she’s vulnerable.
Kayla Ewell, Tanner Novlan’s wife and Steffy’s body double for lovemaking, was seen headed to the CBS set yesterday, September 3 with her hubby. Kayla posted an Instagram pic of her and Tanner heading off to work together. This is how we know some up close and physical romance is on the way between Finn and Steffy!
There should be some kisses between Finn and Steffy along the way, but what about making love for the first time? Will B&B save that as the payoff for when Steffy beats her addiction?
Regardless, many “Sinn” fans are excited to see Steffy and Finn hit the sheets. Plenty of those same fans are also willing to wait!
Steffy’s health has to be the priority, but a slow-burn romance can be nice – especially if it builds the foundation for a relationship that really lasts. When we’ve got characters like Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) pursuing a different Logan sister every week, it cheapens things in the romance department.
Luckily, it sounds like Finn will be a man who only wants one woman – and that’s Steffy.
With that in mind, The Bold and the Beautiful can take their time and slowly build to “Sinn’s” first time lovemaking. When it finally happens, it should be a great next step for Finn and Steffy – a way to signify that they’re moving out of the addiction storyline and into “Sinn’s” true love story.
