The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will deal with a pain med addiction in the weeks ahead. It’ll send Steffy spiraling out of control – and that could lead to big co-parenting trouble.
How will Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) react when he realizes what Steffy’s up against? What about Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle)?
Naturally, Hope and Liam will be concerned about Steffy’s well-being. They’ll certainly want Steffy to recover from her addiction and thrive once again. However, Liam and Hope’s more immediate concern may be Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray).
If Liam feels like Steffy’s addiction is putting Kelly at risk, it could lead to a push for full custody.
That might be something Hope supports or even leads the charge on. Hope was there for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) when he needed her. She may feel obligated to step up for Kelly, too.
Of course, Steffy probably wouldn’t like the idea of Hope playing fill-in mommy! That’s especially true after everything that went down following B&B’s bogus adoption drama.
Hope got her own baby back when the truth about “Phoebe Forrester” aka Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) came out. Steffy was devastated when she had to give “Phoebe” up, but she ultimately knew Beth wasn’t hers to keep.
Kelly, on the other hand, is Steffy’s flesh and blood. Steffy’s daughter means everything to her, so she won’t want her biological child ripped from her arms.
Nevertheless, it’s easy to imagine Liam and Hope feeling like they should take care of Kelly for now. Liam might confront Steffy if the drugs start clouding her judgment and put Kelly in danger.
There’s even a chance Kelly might get her hands on Steffy’s painkillers or find Steffy when she’s out of it. The Bold and the Beautiful is definitely going to let Steffy sink awfully low.
Regardless, Liam’s bound to be concerned for their daughter. With Hope backing him up, Liam may threaten to take this to court if Steffy doesn’t cooperate.
Although Liam might hope it wouldn’t come to that, he’ll surely do whatever he feels is necessary to keep Kelly safe. Hope might seek full custody with Liam due to the danger Kelly’s potentially in.
