The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will eventually need some new stories to shake things up. B&B fans know Steffy ultimately told the truth about her kiss with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She came clean about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) manipulating the situation and accepted that Liam belonged with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Now Liam and Hope are happily in love again, but where does that leave Steffy? What’s on the horizon for this popular character? Steffy will continue to find success in her career, but that’s not enough to keep her front and center on B&B.
Soaps are all about love and family, so Steffy’s storylines need to focus on those crucial elements. Of course, there’s one option that could tie in both!
The Bold and the Beautiful viewers will recall how devastated Steffy was after the Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) reveal. Steffy wanted to adopt another little girl to complete her family, but “Phoebe Forrester” turned out to be Beth in a terrible twist.
Thanks to Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), Steffy grew attached to a baby that wasn’t hers to keep. It was brutal watching Steffy hand over her illegally adopted daughter.
None of that was Steffy’s fault, so she deserves an adoption do-over – a second chance to complete her family with Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) and give her a sister.
Steffy’s heart seems to have healed for the most part, but there may still be a void to fill. Will Steffy decide to adopt again and do it right this time? Steffy trusted the wrong people when it came to “Phoebe,” but she won’t make that mistake again! She knows the red flags to watch out for, so this could lead to bringing another bundle of joy home – for good this time.
This could lead to an interesting dilemma. Would Steffy let Liam serve as baby number two’s father figure like she did before? It might be tempting since Liam is already a dad to Steffy’s firstborn.
On the other hand, Liam’s got an awful lot of kids to wrangle. In addition to Kelly, Liam has Beth with Hope – and now they’re planning to raise Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) together.
Steffy might discourage the idea of Liam stepping up for her, which would open the door for Steffy to find love with a different fill-in daddy. There’s undoubtedly some lucky guy who’d enjoy raising a family with Steffy. An adoption do-over for Steffy could bring some great possibilities.
