The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) are certainly enjoying their latest chapter together. Now that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) out of the picture, Wyatt and Flo are focused on each other. They can coast along on their happiness for a while, but we have to wonder what’s next.
An engagement and eventual wedding could certainly happen for Flo and Wyatt. However, that’d just mean more of the same. It’s fine for Wyatt and Flo to have this blissful period, but it can’t last forever. Even if Flo ultimately becomes Wyatt’s wife, there’ll have to be something to come along and shake up their blissful world.
Could that something actually be someone? Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is going to need a new woman in his life if he sticks around – or potentially a woman he already knows.
There was tension between Flo and Thomas back when the bogus adoption cover-up was going on, but they’ve both moved on. Flo found redemption and Thomas has done some soul-searching, too.
Thomas may have moved on from Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but there’ll probably always be a little part of him that wants her. What’s to stop Thomas from becoming interested in another blonde Logan family member – one that the show likes to push as someone caring and generous?
Flo’s a lot like Hope, so it’d make sense for Thomas to strike up a friendship with Flo and begin to want her.
Naturally, it’d be nice to see Thomas fall for someone in a healthy way this time. Thomas’ infatuation with Hope was creepy, so maybe Thomas could pull Flo closer as part of a more normal love triangle. It’d be nice to see Wyatt face some competition, particularly after the way Sally was treated.
Unfortunately, there just doesn’t seem to be a place for Thomas in any of the other stories right now. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal big plans for other key players on canvas – and Thomas isn’t part of them.
Unless B&B uses Thomas to ultimately give Wyatt and Flo some drama, there won’t be much in store for him.
Since Atkinson is a great actor who’s easy on the eyes, it’d be in the show’s best interest to keep him around. Putting Thomas in Flo and Wyatt’s orbit might be a solid new story direction.
The Bold and the Beautiful fans are rooting for Thomas to have a healthy relationship for once, so maybe he could have one with Flo. As for Wyatt, he might get left out in the cold!
