The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas’ Family Stages Mental Health Intervention – Forced To Admit Hope Doll Hallucinations?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that things are soon going to get critical where Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is concerned. As B&B viewers know, Thomas’s mental health is really starting to deteriorate, as he’s imagining a Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) mannequin talking with him and giving him disturbing orders from time to time.

Thomas has managed to explain away the mannequin in his apartment by saying that he’s using it for design inspiration. And since Thomas’ designs are super inspired as of late, Hope and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are buying that rationale.

John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) not really worried about the mannequin situation either, as he seems to defer to Steffy where Thomas is concerned.

Well, how long until Hope, Steffy, and Finn start to change their minds and get concerned about Thomas? At the moment, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is the only one sounding the alarm about Thomas, but no one is really listening.

Of course, Liam’s perspective isn’t that Thomas is mentally ill and needs help; rather, Liam thinks that Thomas is once again manipulating everyone. But B&B viewers know the truth – that Thomas is having a very real and serious breakdown, and it’s surely going to get much worse before it gets better.

Thomas has been able to hide most of his symptoms from everyone thus far, but generally when people start hearing voices, that signals a very serious problem and the voices don’t tend to go away just because other people are around.

Indeed, Thomas has heard the mannequin’s voice while he’s with other people, so that will probably continue. It’s probably just a matter of time before someone who cares about Thomas notices that something is really wrong.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) knows his son very well – if he were to witness Thomas in distress and hearing voices, you can bet that he’d do something about it. The same could be said for Hope, Steffy, and Finn, too.

It would be nice if someone were to notice Thomas’ level of distress and do something about it. Of course, since Thomas spends so much time by himself at the apartment, it might take a while for anyone to notice his symptoms.

But once someone does notice, we suspect that they’ll sound the alarm to the rest of the family pretty quickly.

And we wouldn’t be surprised if the family turns to Finn, who’s a physician and who would be able to weigh in on what could be causing Thomas to hear voices and believe that a mannequin is a real person with feelings.

We could even see the family stage a mental health intervention for Thomas, similar to how they intervened on Steffy when she was in the throes of drug addiction.

The bottom line is that something will have to be done about Thomas – the guy needs treatment badly, and he’ll probably need to be coaxed to admit himself to a mental health treatment facility for an extended period of time.

It would be great to see the Forrester family and Finn rally for Thomas and encourage him to get help.

Do you think that the Forresters will eventually learn about Thomas’ behavior and urge him to get mental health treatment? Stay tuned to the CBS soap and be sure to check back with us often for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates, and news. Here at CDL, we’ve got you covered!
