The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) veiled problem is about to be exposed. Rather than simply going through another intense wild scenario that’s linked to his personality, Thomas will be diagnosed with a serious medical issue which caused the hallucinations.
As everyone he’s connected to has a chance to consider what’s been happening, the arc of Thomas’ storyline turns. No longer the villain, who’s purposely making bad choices in order to hurt others, Atkinson’s character will be positioned as someone who is a suffering soul. And with that a unique redemption storyline can begin.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer’s Faith Vindicated
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has continued to tell Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that she was seeing progress in Thomas. He refused to buy Hope’s words, believing that her outlook represented the kind-hearted idealism that defines her life. Well, Hope was right.
Thomas has been making progress, as viewers have seen. As part of a dynamic series of scripts, Atkinson’s terrific performances (along with the stellar work of his scene partner, Noelle, in her dual mannequin role) demonstrated that Thomas recognized his thoughts were out of whack. Instead of going along with the fantasy world, he was trying to fight it.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Makes Foolish Choice
Liam’s choice to not confront Thomas and what was the plastic Hope, when he thought his nemesis was “making out” with his wife, was the plot point that allowed this storyline to continue. If Liam had gone at Thomas he would have learned that a mannequin, not Hope, was on the other side of that dark room.
It’s plausible to believe that Liam was so riled by the seemingly shocking moment he witnessed that he would run to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Having the former (and maybe again) couple drink heavily and then begin to embrace on the cliff house sofa led to a fully unexpected romantic encounter that will fully shift the focus off Thomas’ apparent wrong-doing.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Becoming A Better Person For Real
This time, as opposed to past claimed instances, Thomas can become a better person. That’s because all indicators point to him surviving the health crisis, recognizing what’s actually wrong with him, and then being supported by his loved ones as he recovers.
The bad reputation that haunted Thomas will become part of his backstory that’s not directly connected to what’s happening now. B&B is establishing what could be a remarkable arc, where Thomas really does become a better person. It’s quite a storyline projection.
