The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will eventually come back into the picture. When B&B fans last saw Douglas, he was happily enjoying some time with his new family unit. Seeing Douglas content with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Scott Clifton) quite the change after all manipulation Douglas faced.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) practically brainwashed Douglas into believing true bliss was tied to having Daddy and Mommy Hope together. Once Hope helped Douglas understand that wasn’t the case, he quickly got on board “Team Lope.”
Of course, Douglas has proven that he’s a pretty impressionable kid. We also know Douglas has lashed out over Thomas’ behavior before, but his attitude didn’t stick. Thomas won Douglas over again after all the baby swap drama. That led to more manipulative moves and ultimately some meltdowns for Douglas.
In other words, it’s tough to break the bond between a father and his son! Thomas may not be a good dad, but Douglas loves him and could be manipulated by his father once more. Although Thomas’ obsession with Hope is probably over, he could target her in other ways.
Thomas could return with a mentality of “if I can’t have her, you can’t either.” It’s easy to imagine Thomas wanting to derail Liam’s future with Hope. How would Thomas go about doing that? Perhaps that’s where Douglas could come in.
It would take a bit of patience, but Thomas could get Douglas back in his corner. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say fans will see a new side of Douglas down the road. Will Thomas turn his son into a devious little monster? Will this dad convince Douglas that Liam’s the enemy and maybe even Hope, too?
Douglas would be in the prime position to help with “Lope” sabotage efforts. He’s living under the same roof with them, so Thomas could use Douglas to his advantage again. Thomas’ goals would be breaking up Liam and Hope as well as keeping his son.
If Douglas has major behavioral issues while under Hope and Liam’s care, Thomas might have a strong case against them if this turns into a full-blown custody war. Naturally, Thomas could be causing those issues on purpose – just to get revenge and lock in time with his son.
