The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will grow closer to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) as they once again become work partners. This is a risky B&B arrangement – and it’ll soon become apparent that Thomas hasn’t left his feelings for Hope behind.
Of course, there’s a difference between feelings and a full-blown infatuation. Thomas may be able to keep his desire for Hope under control this time around. In fact, Thomas might finally find a reason to turn against Hope down the road!
Ever since Thomas resurfaced, he’s mostly been focused on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Thomas loves his sister and wants what’s best for her. What happens once Hope grows fearful and pushes Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to take Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) away from Steffy?
It’s possible Thomas will see Hope’s point and side with her, but it’d go against everything we’ve seen on screen since Thomas came home. The Bold and the Beautiful fans know Thomas has been firmly in Steffy’s corner, so a drug addiction may not change that.
However, Thomas was previously addicted to Hope in a way, so it’s possible Hope will convince him they have to keep Kelly safe – just like they had to keep Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) safe. Even so, it’s easy to imagine Thomas arguing it’s not the same thing.
Thomas screwed up badly by manipulating his son, but Steffy desperately wants to be a good mom. That’s Steffy’s priority, so Thomas may not think Hope can compare the two situations.
We also know Thomas and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) have more scenes together coming up. It looks like Thomas and Finn will become friends who want to help Steffy recover.
Finn and Thomas may worry that yanking Kelly away will just send Steffy spiraling out of control. If Hope digs her heels in and Liam goes along with this, Thomas may feel the need to fight back in some way. Maybe Thomas could retaliate by insisting Douglas should come live with him full-time again.
Thomas might threaten to get the courts involved – even just as a strategy to make Hope see how hurtful a custody war is. If Hope acts like it’s not right to turn Douglas’ life upside down, Thomas can argue that’s exactly how Kelly will feel.
Regardless, Thomas’ feelings for Hope may dry up fast if she hurts Steffy in the worst way possible. Taking Steffy’s daughter from her might be despicable in Thomas’ eyes. We’ll provide updates as other B&B news pops up.
