The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, December 10, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continued her tense conversation with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in the hospital waiting area.
Liam lamented that what he did wasn’t fair to either Steffy or to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Steffy said that she wasn’t blaming Liam for what happened between them, but that she didn’t want to talk about it while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was in surgery.
Liam insisted that Hope needed to know what happened, and that he loved Hope and his family with her. Nevertheless, Liam said that he meant everything he said to Steffy last night.
Steffy said that she knew, but she was clearly unhappy at the prospect of Liam telling Hope about their affair. Liam said that as soon as they were confident that Thomas was going to get through this, he’d tell Hope.
In another waiting area, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Hope paced and waited for word from John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Ridge felt helpless, wondering who Thomas would be when he pulled through, given his brain trauma.
Ridge said that he had called Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) who was back home helping out with the kids.
Soon, Finn emerged, and he, Ridge, and Hope went to see Steffy and Liam. Finn gave everyone an update – the surgery went well, and the procedure went better than expected. “We’re hopeful for a full recovery,” Finn said, also noting that Thomas’ delusions were caused by the subdural hematoma.
Hope credited Finn for urging her to check on Thomas, and Finn credited Hope for being there when Thomas collapsed.
Steffy and Thomas went into see Thomas, while Hope and Liam stayed in the waiting area. Liam was thankful that Hope was with Thomas and saved his life, and Hope indicated that she wanted things to go back to normal with the two of them.
Liam looked conflicted, and he told Hope that he’d never take her love for granted or the family they have together.
Meanwhile in Thomas’ room, Steffy and Ridge talked to an unconscious Thomas while Hope looked through the window into the room. Thomas roused a little bit and opened his eyes a little.
Thomas tried to speak, and Steffy said that Thomas was going to be fine, and that they were here for him, along with Liam and Hope. Thomas saw Hope outside the window, and said, “Hope.”
Over at the Forrester mansion, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) told Eric Forrester (John McCook) that she did a terrible thing to Brooke and Ridge, and that it was wrong to drag Shauna into it.
Quinn said that she was there before and saw that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) was there. Eric said that Shauna was Quinn’s staunchest supporter.
Quinn said that it was wrong of her to force Shauna and Ridge together and to make the marriage between them happen. “I used my best friend in my vendetta against Brooke,” Quinn lamented, saying that she’ll never love another man the way she loves Eric.
Eric fussed at Quinn over trying to destroy Brooke and Ridge’s marriage and what she put Shauna through, but he said that in spite of that he’s missed having Quinn in the house.
Eric then said that Quinn had apologized enough and now it was his turn to apologize. “I moved Shauna into our home. It was insensitive of me to allow her to stay with me, and I’m sorry,” Eric said, as Quinn stood there stunned.
Eric said that he loved Quinn, and Quinn returned the sentiment. Eric and Quinn hugged happily.
