The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, January 2, teases that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will pay Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) a visit. They’ll discuss their plan and how it may be in jeopardy thanks to Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Liam will worry Thomas is reeling Zoe in – and that’s certainly not going to help Liam protect Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Steffy will wonder how Liam’s handling Hope’s decision to work with Thomas. She loves her brother, but she knows there are some serious trust issues. Steffy won’t blame Liam for being wary after everything Thomas has done.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will open up to Steffy and grow closer to her in the process. He may confess his Thomas concerns are getting worse instead of better. Liam will wish he could get some peace of mind, but that can’t happen until they figure out Thomas’ true game. Unfortunately, that’ll get tougher thanks to Thomas’ twisted moves.
Meanwhile, Thomas will have something special in mind for Hope. He’ll give Hope quite a surprise, but she definitely won’t approve. Whether this involves a gift or a gesture of some sort, Hope will be disturbed by Thomas’ actions. It could reignite her doubts about Thomas’ affection for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes).
After Hope makes it clear that Thomas crossed the line, he may fear he’s sabotaged himself. However, Thomas never lets setbacks get him down. He always just digs his heels in and ups the ante!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will be sure to continue his Zoe charade. He’s still infatuated with Hope, but he’s already got Zoe wrapped around his little finger.
Zoe’s falling hard and is only going to fall harder as Thomas works this angle. He’ll want to make their relationship look even more serious as fast as possible. B&B fans can expect Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to be fully duped. He’ll be pleased by all the signs that Thomas is truly moving on.
Ridge will go to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) on Thursday and urge her to see what he’s seeing. He’ll think Thomas is obviously over Hope and putting the past behind him. Ridge will push for reconciliation since Thomas will be a changed man in his eyes.
Of course, Brooke is in the loop on Liam’s plot with Zoe and Steffy. Zoe’s supposed to be figuring out Thomas’ true motives, but she’s losing sight of her objective. Her mission will undoubtedly shift to proving Thomas has turned over a new leaf instead of getting the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
Brooke will fret about the jeopardized plan and still won’t trust Thomas. However, Ridge and Brooke may make some form of progress on Thursday. It appears they’ll eventually share some warm holiday moments – and Brooke will urge Ridge to move back in next week.
As for Thomas, he’ll soon be busy nudging Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) to pursue Ridge ASAP! Thomas will juggle several plots in the coming episodes to keep his Hope pursuit afloat. He’ll do whatever he can to tear “Bridge” apart again and make this “Thope” reunion happen.
