The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, June 25, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on August 5, 2011. The episode is part of “Emmy Winning Performances Week,” and it helped Heather Tom win the Emmy for Best Lead Actress for her portrayal of Katie Logan Spencer.
In the episode, Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tyler) will be discussing Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) affair of the heart with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) when Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrives and inserts herself into their discussion.
Taylor will admit that she’s known about the “affair” for a while, but that she didn’t think that anything would happen since Bill is married.
Brooke will think that maybe Taylor is happy that Bill and Steffy’s relationship has landed Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) in the hospital. But Taylor will say that she thought she was helping Katie by telling her what was happening behind her back, and that Bill has convinced Steffy that he’s leaving Katie.
Brooke will scoff, thinking that even Bill isn’t ruthless enough to do that.
After some more back and forth, Ridge and Taylor will find themselves worried about Steffy and her eventual devastation when she realizes that Bill isn’t going to leave Katie. Brooke will think that Steffy needs to realize that things aren’t always about her, and that she can’t always get her way.
Meanwhile, over at Steffy’s place, she and Bill will talk. Bill will promise that they’ll work out this difficult situation somehow. Steffy won’t like Bill’s vagueness, yet Bill will promise not to let Steffy down, and he’ll insist that he meant what he said about them being together. However, Bill will note that they are in an extraordinary situation.
Steffy will do her best to keep Bill there, but Bill will insist on leaving, telling her that she shouldn’t make things more difficult than they already are. Steffy will say that she loves Bill for what he wants to do for Katie, and that she’ll wait for them to start their life together.
At the hospital, Katie will sneak out of her room and pop onto the elevator, avoiding Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Kim Matula). Liam and Hope will return to Katie’s room, but Katie will be gone, and her doctor will be wondering where she is. Bill will soon arrive, and Liam will indicate that he might know where Katie went.
Back at Steffy’s place, Katie will walk in the unlocked front door. Steffy will rush over to Katie, worried about her being there in her condition. Katie will say that someone had to come tell Steffy that she will never be with Bill. Steffy won’t want to discuss the matter, and Katie will notice a hospital visitor’s tag on the table, which will mean that Bill was there.
Katie will assume that Bill had been at Steffy’s to say that he’d never return and that it was over between them, but Steffy will retort that Bill isn’t going to return until Katie is recovered.
Katie will blast Steffy, saying that she’s doomed by selfishness, coldness, and a lack of imagination, and that Bill’s attention probably made Steffy think she was as extraordinary as everyone told her she was.
Katie will tell Steffy that she hasn’t even thought about what this would all do to her, to just be an object in Steffy’s way. Steffy will think that Logan women are addicted to drama, and that Bill doesn’t need someone so emotionally fragile. Steffy will say that she can wait for Bill.
Later, Katie will return to her hospital room, where Bill is yelling at Liam about where Katie might have gone. Katie will want a word alone with Bill, and she’ll throw the hospital visitor’s pass at him, saying that she knows where he has been. Katie will slam Bill for lying to her, and Bill will say that he hasn’t.
Katie will then realize that Bill has made promises to both Steffy and to her, and she’ll point out that Steffy is sitting around at home waiting for the day when Bill will go be with her. Katie will ask Bill which woman he’s been lying to.
