The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, November 12, reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) continued to be besieged by the mannequin’s demands.
Alone in his apartment with the mannequin, Thomas heard her insist that he needed to get rid of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Thomas told the mannequin that he couldn’t do that, and that he didn’t want to hurt anyone.
The mannequin wouldn’t give it up, and she demanded that Thomas eliminate Liam so that he could be with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Finally, Thomas got in the mannequin’s face and yelled, “I am not that man anymore!” The mannequin told Thomas that he’d always love Hope and he should stop fighting it. “She doesn’t want me,” Thomas cried.
The mannequin said that was because of Liam. “You can be that man for Hope,” the mannequin said. “It’s all I want,” Thomas said, crying. “Make it happen tonight!” the mannequin demanded.
Meanwhile, at the cabin, Hope and Liam continued their back-and-forth about Thomas. Hope insisted that the mannequin was just a prop that Thomas was using for design inspiration, and she thought that Liam should give Thomas a chance to prove him wrong. Liam said that he’d already given Thomas too many chances.
Hope wanted Liam to try to move forward, since Thomas was always going to be a part of their lives.
Hope admitted that Liam had a point about Thomas, but she said that she was thinking about what Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) needed and how Thomas needed the outlet that Hope For The Future provided. “We need to accept Thomas in our lives for Douglas,” Hope said.
In the Forrester CEO office, Thomas sat sketching, having left his apartment and the mannequin behind. Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) walked in and started giving Thomas a hard time about taking the Hope mannequin.
Charlie asked why Thomas hadn’t just said that he had the mannequin, and Thomas said that he thought it would have been weird admitting that he had it in font of Hope.
Charlie pushed Thomas, wondering why he had absconded with the mannequin to begin with. Thomas explained calmly that it was for design inspiration, but Charlie kept interrogating Thomas, wondering why Thomas wanted to keep the mannequin’s whereabouts from everyone.
Thomas got distracted and started flashing back to the mannequin telling him to kill Liam.
At Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) place, Carter, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) gushed about how amazing their dinner had been.
Carter said that he had a lot of amazing changes lately, with none being more special than Zoe.
The quad played some after-dinner games and Paris got flirty with Zende as they were talking about their celebrity crushes. When Zende and Paris went up to the rooftop deck to check it out, Zoe thanked Carter for including Paris tonight. Carter said that this was Zoe’s place, too, even if she hadn’t moved in yet.
“What will it take for you to be all in?” Carter asked Zoe. “I want this to all be ours.” Carter went on, saying that he knew what it was like to have his heart broken and then be guarded.
“I’m telling you that you can trust me with yours,” Carter said, and then he whipped out a HUGE engagement ring in its box.
Zoe looked truly touched as Carter made a big speech about how he feels about Zoe. Carter got on one knee and told Zoe that he loved her and that he wanted a life and kids with her, and that he wanted to hold her forever. “So, what do you say, will you marry me?” Zoe looked speechless.
Suddenly, the smoke alarm started blaring, and he and Zoe struggled to figure out what was going on. There was clearly no smoke in the loft, so it didn’t make sense. Carter stood up and Zoe and Zende came in from the roof deck.
Carter and Paris decided to go out and check the other lofts to make sure there wasn’t a fire.
Zoe stood there, still reeling from the proposal, and Zende noticed that something was off. “Are you ok?” Zende asked, then he looked at the table and noticed the engagement ring sitting there. “Did Carter propose to you?” Zende asked, horrified. Zende and Zoe started at each other, not knowing what to say.
