The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, October 29, reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) continued their awkward conversation in the Forrester CEO office.
Finn noted that Thomas seemed a little out of it, but Thomas brushed it off, saying that he had a lot on his mind.
Finn asked Thomas about whether Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) really said that she wanted to be with him, and he noted that it seemed like Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) were a happily married couple.
Thomas rambled a bit, saying that he and Hope were raising Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) together. Finn wondered what made Thomas think that Hope was giving him signs that she had feelings for him.
Thomas then flashed back to the Hope mannequin talking to him at the apartment and he zoned out for a moment. Finn wondered if Thomas was ok, and Thomas said that he hadn’t eaten today and that he didn’t sleep well last night.
Finn left for Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) place, looking worried about Thomas as he left.
At the cliff house, Steffy and Hope talked, as Liam had just left to go to a meeting at Spencer Publications.
Hope and Steffy talked about how happy they were that they were all making their blended family work so well, and Hope mentioned that Steffy looked great and that it must be due to a certain handsome doctor.
Hope gushed about Finn and said that it was great to see Steffy so happy.
Talk turned to Thomas, and Steffy wondered how Thomas had been with Hope lately. Hope said that Thomas had been very professional, and that she thought he was on the right path and in control of himself. “I’m glad he’s over his obsession with you,” Steffy said.
Later, Finn arrived at Steffy’s place and talked to Steffy alone. Finn brought Steffy a big bouquet of flowers and he brought Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) a smaller bouquet.
Steffy said that she and Hope had just been talking about him, and that Hope seemed to be their biggest fan. Finn shared that he just talked with Thomas over at Forrester Creations, and Steffy mentioned that Thomas was thankfully over his obsession with Hope.
Finn looked askew, and Steffy wondered what was up. Finn shared that he got a weird vibe from Thomas and he shared the details about his interaction with Thomas earlier, including that Thomas said that he thought Hope was giving him signs that she wanted to be with him. This immediately worried Steffy.
Back at the Forrester Creations CEO office, Thomas was designing when he started ruminating about all the things that the Hope mannequin had said to him, including that she wanted to stay with him at the apartment.
Suddenly, Thomas realized that Hope was actually there in the the office talking to him about fabrics and designs.
Hope noticed that Thomas was a little zoned, and she asked if everything was ok with him. “Do you really care?” Thomas asked. Hope said of course she cared about Thomas, and she said that she appreciated that Thomas was still working on designs for Hope For The Future.
As Hope kept talking, Thomas drifted back to memories of the mannequin telling him that she wanted him.
