The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, April 28 Recap – Steffy Slaps Quinn In Furious Attack – ‘Becoming Bold & Beautiful’ Part 2

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 28, reveal that viewers saw Part 2 of the “Becoming Bold & Beautiful” documentary. Beforehand, there was a nice introduction from Darin Brooks, who portrays Wyatt Spencer on the show. Darin welcomed viewers back to the special “Escape to Monte Carlo” week, and to an authentic look at how they make the show.

Turns out, the cast and crew were shooting seven episodes in Monte Carlo at the time that this documentary was made back in 2016. Viewers got to see some fun behind-the-scenes footage of various actors talking about their executive producer, Brad Bell. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) described Brad as passionate, and she said that he really believes in the actors and in the show.

Casey Kasprzyk, B&B’s supervising producer, was interviewed and stated that the show always uses the same production company in Monte Carlo, so they work well together. Viewers got to see plenty of footage of Casey and the rest of the crew talking about how to shoot various scenes, including some footage of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) walking sadly near the beach.

Viewers also got to see the process of filming a pivotal scene in which Liam spots who he thinks is Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) from afar – in these scenes, Brad Bell was actually an extra in one of the shots. There were also a behind-the-scenes look at the scene in which Steffy sees Eric Forrester (John McCook) with a woman with a big hat and wants to find out who the woman is.

Rena Sofer gushed during an interview about how much she loved being the woman in the big hat, teasing that she thought the hat was like another cast member. Rena also noted that the shoot was fun, and that a lot of fans were nearby and wanted to take pictures.

There was one thing that the cast and crew weren’t expecting, though, and that was the rain. On the final day of shooting, weather became a factor, so the crew just decided to go with it, and they shot a key scene between Wyatt and Steffy in the rain. The cast and crew even incorporated some last-minute dialogue about the rain into the scene.

Viewers also got to see the making of an important scene between Quinn and Steffy, during which Steffy chases Quinn down in a park and finally realizes that Quinn is the mystery woman who is romancing her grandfather. In the scene, Steffy pushes Quinn to the ground, then later slaps her.

“The slap was real,” Jacqueline MacInnes Wood said during the documentary. “She [Rena Sofer] said go for it.” Of the slap, Rena laughed after the take, saying, “She flat on smacked me. It was perfect – it’s was what I asked her to do, by the way.”

The cast and crew had to deal with a big issue when filming the airport scene when Quinn arrives in Monte Carlo. The cast and crew were all ready to film, when what looked like a parade approached on the street. Turns out, it was a protest, and so the cast and crew had to wait, but finally were able to shoot the scene.

The documentary ended with footage of the cast and crew attending the TV festival in Monte Carlo and winning an award for world’s most watched daily drama series. Brad Bell was shown speaking and thanking the audience for all their support.

Darin Brooks then returned to thank fans for watching the documentary, and he noted that none of this is possible without the fans. Darin hoped that viewers were staying safe, and he reminded everyone to tune in on Wednesday for Quinn’s adventures in trying to get to Monte Carlo. Stick with the CBS soap and don’t forget that CDL is here for all your hot Bold and the Beautiful news and updates.
