The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 18, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will push Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to be honest – and he’ll offer honesty in return.
B&B fans know Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) decided not to give Steffy a refill on her prescription. Steffy’s been bumped down to over-the-counter meds, but those aren’t doing much to ease her pain.
Although Steffy will try to downplay her agony, Thomas will see her visible discomfort. He won’t think Steffy should suffer in silence, so he’ll encourage her to open up about how she’s really feeling.
Steffy will finally break down and admit the pain’s difficult to cope with. Thomas will listen and urge Steffy to face a stunning truth – perhaps that her stubbornness is getting in the way of her recovery.
Steffy values her independence and wants to continue being a great mom to Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray). However, Thomas may think Steffy’s doing too much on her own and not asking for help when she needs it. That goes for this pill situation, too.
Within the next episode or two, Thomas will convince Steffy to have a similar moment of honesty with Finn and ask for the pain meds she needs. Of course, Thomas could regret giving Steffy this nudge down the road!
B&B viewers can expect Steffy to get addicted to painkillers, so Thomas might feel like he contributed to the problem eventually.
In the meantime, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) war of words will press on. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will push every button Brooke has – and Shauna Forrester’s (Denise Richards) arrival won’t help matters.
Now that Shauna is Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) new wife, Brooke will surely have some insults to spew.
Quinn will keep trying to rile up her rival, but Brooke will be the one who ends this confrontation – and she’ll do it with a major threat. Brooke will vow to uncover the truth about Ridge’s sham marriage, so she may warn Shauna and Quinn to prepare for exposure.
It should become clearer to Brooke by the second that something rotten went down in Vegas!
