The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 22, reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) worked in the Forrester CEO office on the Hope For The Future Line.
After a little talk about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being late getting to the office, talk turned to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and his recovery. Hope credited John “Finn” Finn (Tanner Novlan) for being the hero.
Meanwhile, at the cliff house, Finn brought Steffy some coffee in bed. After making love, Steffy again thanked Finn for taking good care of Thomas.
Finn said that he was dedicated to taking care of all the Forresters in his life, and he jokingly warned Steffy against sneaking in cheeseburgers to the hospital for Thomas. Finn mentioned that Steffy was an upstanding honest woman, which made Steffy feel guilty.
In the Forrester design office, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) disconnected from a call, having learned that the head of the Forrester Foundation just retired.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walked in and basically put the task of hiring a replacement onto Carter. Ridge stepped out of the office, and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) came in looking for Carter.
Paris told Carter that she was happy that he and Zoe were engaged, and that they were a real power couple. Paris said that she was thinking about all the good that Zoe and Carter could do with their spotlight, and if they found a cause that they both cared about, then they could talk about that to the media.
Carter was impressed, and through their conversation, he learned that Paris had experience in non-profit administration and community organizing.
Carter started thinking as Paris went on about her work with the homeless population and her experience in Africa with a nonprofit agency. Carter mentioned that Forrester Creations had a charitable arm – the Forrester Foundation – and he mused that Paris really had a passion for non-profit work.
Back over in the CEO office, Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) entered with the Hope mannequin, while Hope, Zoe, and Zende watched. Soon, everyone but Hope left the room, and Hope stood with the creepy mannequin.
Ridge walked in and spotted the mannequin, and he noted that he felt horrible for Thomas, who had thought the doll was alive.
Soon, Steffy walked in and saw the mannequin, which brought up a lot of guilt for her over her affair with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Ridge took off, and Hope wondered if Steffy was with Finn this morning.
Steffy indicated that she was, and Hope was happy for her. Hope then said that she felt bad that Liam actually believed Thomas was kissing her instead of the mannequin. Steffy looked uncomfortable.
In the backstage area, Paris and Zoe talked. Paris said that she bumped into Carter earlier, and Zoe immediately got suspicious, saying that Paris didn’t just bump into Carter – she sought him out.
“You can’t just be wandering around the building, Paris, everyone is busy,” Zoe said. Paris insisted that Carter wanted to talk with her, and Zoe fired back that Paris shouldn’t interfere in her personal or work life.
Finally, back in the Forrester design office, Ridge and Carter regrouped, and Ridge asked how the search was going for a new person to lead the Forrester Foundation.
Carter said that he was interested in someone, but he wanted to talk to Ridge about it first. “Who it is?” Ridge asked. “Paris, Zoe’s sister,” Carter said.
