The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, June 9, tease that viewers will see an episode of B&B that originally aired on January 6, 2003. The episode is a classic that centers on the “Portofino Challenge” – a fashion competition in Portofino, Italy, between Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) and Eric Forrester (John McCook).
It should be a great walk down memory lane for long-time viewers, and a great chance for newer viewers to see a slice of B&B history! The fashion competition will be emceed by Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Clarke Garrison (Dan McVicar). Eric will be lead designer for Forrester Creations, while Ridge will be lead designer for Spectra Fashions.
But first, the drama will begin with Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) finding Macy Alexander (Bobbie Eakes) waiting for him at the church. Thorne will tell Macy that he knew she would come, and Macy will reply that she couldn’t go without saying goodbye first. Thorne will declare his love for Macy, sealing it with a kiss.
Macy will tell Thorne that she never stopped loving him, but that she has to leave in order to protect her father. Thorne will think that Macy should forget about her father and follow her heart. Suddenly, Lorenzo Barelli (Luigi Amodeo) will burst in, telling Macy not to listen to Thorne since he let her down before.
Meanwhile, in Italy, Bridget Forrester (Jennifer Finnegan) will examine the final entries for the fashion show, as she tells Massimo Marone (Joseph Mascolo) that she knows that it must be difficult for him to watch Ridge with Eric.
Bridget will tell Massimo that the tribute to Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) was Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) idea. Elsewhere, Ridge will tell Brooke that he appreciates the tribute to Taylor.
Additionally, Ridge will thank Eric for the distraction of the fashion competition before the showstopper gowns arrive for the grand finale. The Spectra Fashions showstopper will be announced by confetti bursting out and a big photo of Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley).
Ridge will be clearly embarrassed by the display, but the showstopper gown will be gorgeous and will capture the audience.
Next, it will be time for the Forrester Creations showstopper, which will be introduced in a much more sophisticated way. The model wearing the showstopper will arrive in a boat wearing a beautiful and elegant gown designed by Eric.
The crowd will be enthralled by the gown and the delivery method. As the boat nears, everyone will see that the model is Brooke. Stephanie will appear to be disgusted, while Ridge looks thoroughly pleased with the sight.
