The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 17, reveal that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) donned their “bride” and “groom” tee shirts and got their wedding ceremony underway. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) officiated, and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) served as a witness from her highchair.
While Hope was out of the room preparing, Liam talked with Douglas, asking him if there was anything that happened today with his dad that he’d like to get off his chest. Douglas said, “Daddy was doing bad things again and we had to stop him.” Liam agreed, but said that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was still Douglas’ dad, and that if Douglas had issues, then he should feel free to talk things through.
The wedding then got underway, with Douglas standing on a stool as the officiant. Hope walked in with flowers, and Douglas asked if they had stuff to say to each other. Liam started, saying that they had a year of challenges and thought they had lost Beth, but that Douglas helped them. Douglas chimed in that he and Liam would always protect and love Hope.
Next, it was time for the vows. Liam went first, saying that he loved Hope and that he was proud, honored, and grateful to become her husband. Hope went next, saying that her heart was full and that there’s not a day she takes for granted with Beth, and that’s because of Douglas. She told Liam that he was kind, patient, and that there has never been anyone else for her.
Douglas then announced that he had vows, too. He said that he and Beth were happy that Hope and Liam were their parents, and that they promised to love and obey and eat all their vegetables. The ring exchange was next, and finally, Douglas pronounced them husband and wife. Douglas was thrilled, and the four shared some great family scenes and a group hug.
Meanwhile, over at Spencer Publications, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) daydreamed about his kiss with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) when Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) interrupted. Off-screen, Bill told Wyatt about what had happened at Thomas and Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) wedding, and that Hope, Liam, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Zoe, and Douglas had all conspired against Thomas.
At Brooke’s mansion, she was getting ready for bed wearing lingerie when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) knocked at the door. Brooke pulled him in the room, saying, “Get in here!” She welcomed him home, and Ridge apologized that they had lost so much time together. He said that Brooke was right about Thomas from the beginning, and he lamented about not seeing the truth.
Ridge said that he’d never doubt Brooke again, and Brooke said that he was her destiny. Ridge then went to shower, and Brooke’s phone rang. It was Bill calling, and Brooke didn’t want to talk with him. Bill said that Liam had told him what happened at the wedding with Thomas, and that he also wanted to talk about what had happened between them…that kiss.
Brooke curtly told Bill not to say another word, and she hung up. Ridge returned from the shower and the two kissed. Ridge said he was never letting go of Brooke, and he apologized for making her feel alone. Ridge said he’d never do that again, and that life without her isn’t really life at all. They declared their love for each other and hugged tenderly.
