The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, May 19, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on December 11, 1998. In the episode, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will lay on the bed in her office and muse to herself about how she’s going to “go through with it” and that “it is going to blow their minds.”
Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) will talk via phone with Taylor Hayes Forrester (Hunter Tylo) about the upcoming press conference. Ridge will let Taylor know that the fashion show will be shown on the fashion channel, but that it will be boring and that she shouldn’t watch it. But Taylor will say that it should be exciting since Forrester Creations is unveiling a new concept.
Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) will be greeted by Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) at Forrester Creations. Thorne will wonder why he’s been summoned, and Eric and Stephanie will tell him that they want him back at Forrester – in fact, they’ll want him back so badly that they’ll accommodate his schedule at Spectra Fashions. Thorne will happily accept, and Eric and Stephanie will ask him to start immediately with the press conference.
Next, Ridge will enter Brooke’s office, telling her that the press conference will be starting shortly and that she needs to get ready. Brooke will assure Ridge that she’ll be there, and that they should go ahead and get started. Ridge will be reluctant, but Brooke will shoo him out of the office. Once he’s gone, Brooke will muse to herself about how the Forresters won’t ever forget what’s about to happen.
Back with Taylor, she’ll talk with Pierce Peterson (Paul Satterfield) about the visit she paid to Brooke earlier, mentioning that Brooke now has a bed in her office. Taylor will scoff at the whole “Brooke’s Bedroom” concept, although Pierce will try to say that Brooke is classy. Taylor will tell Pierce that she wants to watch the press conference on the fashion channel, and Pierce will think that it will all be ok.
In Brooke’s office, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregmam) will enter and talk with Brooke about her plan for the press conference, soon learning that the Forresters don’t know what’s about to go down. Lauren will think that Stephanie isn’t going to be thrilled with what Brooke’s got planned. Brooke will hurriedly leave for the press conference, which will be about to start.
At the press conference, Eric will kick things off, welcoming everyone and telling the crowd that he’s happy to say that the company will be introducing a new and exciting division. Brooke will be nowhere to be seen, and as Pierce and Taylor are watching the press conference on TV, they’ll reassure themselves that Brooke wouldn’t mess up this opportunity with the Forrester family.
The press conference with continue, with Eric saying that their CEO Brooke created this new division, that Ridge is the top designer, and that Thorne will be handling sales. From her vantage point, Taylor will muse that perhaps the Forresters locked Brooke up in a closet. Pierce won’t think that Brooke would do anything.
Stephanie will then speak at the press conference. Stephanie will say that right now they are calling the line “Brooke’s Bedroom,” but that it will probably be changed. As Stephanie goes on, music will start to play, and the crowd will react. Stephanie and Eric will be puzzled by what’s going on, and suddenly models will emerge wearing slinky lingerie and strutting their stuff.
Then, the stage will revolve, and Brooke will be atop a big bed wearing a long robe. Eric and Stephanie will be horrified, and Stephanie will say, “Tell me this is not happening!” Watching on the fashion channel, Taylor and Pierce will be stunned. Brooke will pause for pictures as flashbulbs go off all around her, taking off her robe and revealing a corset underneath.
Brooke will then get off the bed and she and the models will take the catwalk. Brooke will talk about her product line, saying that it will give women power in the bedroom. It will be quite a display, and Brooke will even manage to get a dig in toward Stephanie during the whole thing. Brooke will then pull Ridge up onto the runway with her and kiss his cheek, announcing that their names are synonymous with love, sexuality, and intimacy. Taylor will be horrified.
Brooke will go on, talking about how Forrester is going to redefine pleasure, and that this is a new age. Brooke will say that the story of Ridge and Brooke is full of passion and sexuality, and that this is their legacy. Eric will say that the press conference is over, and Stephanie will cover Brooke with a sheet. The women will scuffle and fall onto the bed together.
Then Ridge will try to break up Stephanie and Brooke, and he’ll fall on the bed with them. The press will take pictures and shout questions as Brooke, Stephanie, and Ridge roll around on the bed fighting. Taylor will be beside herself, yelling at the TV that Brooke is finished, and that Ridge won’t be a part of this again.
Meanwhile, Eric will attempt to put an end to the press conference, but he’ll be powerless as he insists that the press conference is over and tries to keep the press from continuing to snap pictures.
