The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 25, teases that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will stand by her latest tactic. B&B viewers know Quinn encouraged Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to go after Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and make something happen between them.
Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards) will battle concerns about Quinn’s meddling, but Quinn won’t see any reason to worry or feel guilty.
Quinn’s working hard to make sure Shauna remains Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) wife – and if Brooke ends up suffering in the process, that’s even better. It turns out Quinn’s plot has already been a huge success.
Bill did what Quinn hoped he’d do and professed his love for Brooke. When Brooke tried to let Bill down gently, Ridge heard an unfortunate snippet of their discussion.
Ridge missed the part about how he’s the only man Brooke wants to be with for the rest of her life. He just caught the part about how Brooke would always love Bill and dashed out of earshot. If Ridge had stuck around, he’d understand that Brooke was trying to say her one true love was Ridge, not Bill.
Just because Brooke will keep Bill in her heart on some level doesn’t mean she wants a future with him. It doesn’t negate Brooke’s love for Ridge either, but he doesn’t have the full picture here.
As a result, Ridge will slink off and do some sulking. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will try to come to grips with the situation and accept the shattered “Bridge” illusion.
It won’t be long until Ridge is leaning on Shauna for comfort, so that’ll set up some trouble. In the meantime, Brooke will don something skimpy and hope for a hot night. She’ll count on Ridge to score Shauna’s signature on the annulment papers so they can begin a new chapter.
B&B spoilers say Brooke will look forward to a steamy reunion, but Ridge won’t show up. That’ll lead Brooke on a mission to find Ridge – and she won’t like what’s waiting for her at the Forrester mansion later this week!
Until then, Bill will feel like he made a fool of himself. He’ll probably hate that he listened to Quinn of all people and went after Brooke only to get shot down. Of course, Bill will also have to cope with the loss of what might’ve been.
He feels like that “Brill” kiss reawakened something, so it could be tough to put it back to sleep – at least now that Quinn’s been stirring up Bill’s old feelings.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will turn to alcohol to numb his emotions. He’ll try to drink away his pain, but there’s hope for Bill and Brooke’s reunion after all. Bill just has to wait on Brooke and Ridge’s nasty breakup, which is just around the corner! We’ll pass along updates as other news emerges.
