The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 5, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will make his long-awaited return – and there’ll be an important reason why. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reached out to Thomas about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) accident, so Thomas will want to pay his sister a visit.
Since Thomas will be concerned about Steffy, he’ll want to talk to her in person and see for himself that she’s all right. Unfortunately, Steffy’s in a tremendous amount of pain due to her recent injuries. B&B spoilers say Thomas will take a look at Steffy’s meds and encourage her to take what she needs.
Thomas won’t want Steffy suffering like this, but Steffy will hate to cave in any more than she already has. Nevertheless, Steffy will continue facing pain med pressure and will take her prescribed doses as a result.
The real trouble will be when Steffy presumably starts taking more than she needs and can’t stop, but that should come further down the line.
For now, Steffy will hesitantly take these meds and proceed with caution. In the meantime, Thomas will talk to Steffy about his efforts to find himself and get on a better path. Thomas will be apologetic about his previous mistakes and will want to start fresh.
Steffy’s accident really shook up her loved ones – including Steffy herself. This is the ideal time to put the past to rest and focus on new beginnings. Steffy will gladly give her brother a clean slate, so Thomas will appreciate that.
As for Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), he’ll show up at the door soon and give Thomas his cue to leave! Thomas will get updates on the reason for Finn’s house call and urge the doc to take care of Steffy. Finn’s certainly doing a great job so far, but things should get even better once love starts blooming down the road.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will take whatever Katie Logan (Heather Tom) dishes out. Katie was hurt, horrified and appalled when she learned the depth of Sally’s deception. On Wednesday, Katie will once again wonder how Sally could do this.
Sally won’t think anything excuses her terminal illness lie and everything that followed. However, Sally will at least try to explain where her head was at. After losing so many times and for so long, it was like something inside Sally snapped.
Sally was consumed by her love for Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and was desperate to replace Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) in his heart.
That plan obviously tanked hard, so Sally’s having a rough time. Although Katie will be outraged, maybe Sally can tug at her heartstrings a bit, too. Katie understands better than anyone what it’s like to be burned romantically.
Sally might point out that when Wyatt left her for his former flame, it was a difficult blow. Since Katie’s still haunted by Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) betrayal with his ex, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), maybe Katie can relate to Sally on some level.
Katie can’t pretend what Sally did was OK, but perhaps she’ll soften somewhat. It looks like Sally will plead for forgiveness if that’s possible, so Katie will have to decide where she stands. We’ll deliver the latest B&B news and keep you posted on all the sizzling details.
