The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, March 4, tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will find herself seriously upset. As B&B viewers know, she’s just had to comfort Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) after Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) announced glibly that he was going to marry Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) right away.
That caused Douglas to freak out and cling to Hope, asking for it all to stop. Well, it appears that Hope will want to have a word with Thomas about this whole scene. She’ll probably feel like Thomas ambushed Douglas with the news, which he certainly did.
Hope doesn’t know it yet, but Thomas planned the whole thing just to provoke a Douglas meltdown, so that Hope would find herself in the position of wanting to do anything to make Douglas happy.
It looks like a big argument is going to ensue between Hope and Thomas over the whole thing. Hope will probably blast him for moving things along with Zoe too quickly, and for referring to Zoe as Douglas’ “new mommy,” which is something that really upsets the little boy.
But it looks like Thomas will stick to his tactics, saying that he’s determined to move on, and since Hope doesn’t want him then he has a right to be happy with someone else.
According to B&B spoilers, Hope will go directly from that conflict with Thomas into a conversation with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Whether she seeks out Liam’s counsel remains to be seen, but the two will talk, and when they do, Hope will turn to Liam for guidance.
Hope knows that Liam also cares deeply about Douglas, and that he only wants what’s best for the kid. So it looks like she’ll divulge Thomas’ plan to quickly marry Zoe and the awful effect it’s having on Douglas.
Well, of course Liam is going to see right through Thomas’ scheme. He’ll probably point out to Hope that Thomas is deliberately using Douglas and trying to provoke big reactions out of him, just so Hope will put a stop to his wedding to Zoe.
Unfortunately, it looks like that’s going to lead to a conflict between Hope and Liam, with Liam predictably saying that Thomas is manipulating and Hope not really buying it.
Next, on the new episode of B&B on Wednesday, March 4, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will find her faith in her brother shattered. According to B&B spoilers, she’ll overhear a conversation not meant for her ears, and it will absolutely devastate her. It looks like she’ll overhear Thomas talking with someone – possibly his buddy Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) – and she’ll be startled by what she hears.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Steffy will realize after this conversation that Thomas is still manipulating to get Hope, and that she’ll specifically hear details about exactly why he manipulated to help push Liam back in her direction.
Steffy won’t be amused as she hears Thomas indicate that his orchestration of her kiss with Liam was mainly about driving a wedge between Hope and Liam, and not about looking out for her.
Of course, Steffy has been resisting the notion that Thomas is still manipulating to get Hope for a while now. Liam has long tried to get her to see that Thomas is still obsessed with Hope, but Steffy really wanted to believe that he had moved on.
So for Steffy to find out that Liam was right and that Thomas might really be as disturbed as he’s been saying will be a real blow to her, and she’ll have to think carefully about her next move.
Ongoing B&B spoilers say that Steffy will eventually go to Liam. It seems that once she’s overheard Thomas and once she learns that Thomas is pushing for a quick wedding to Zoe, she’ll decide that it’s time to admit to Liam that he’s been right and that they need to do something to put a stop to all of this.
Steffy will go to Liam with the goal of coming clean about Thomas’ role in their kiss, which will be a big deal for her, but she’ll feel she has no choice but to make things right.
